The triangle has a Bb-7 to C8 note. The tone is very solemn, not happy tone. It is good for solemn pieces like in Lent time and sometimes for Advent but not for Easter or Paschal time. This is a good secondary triangle, not your main triangle. Use a thin scrunchie instead of the plastic holder that is comes from and remove the plastic thing on the percutor (bar). These plastic things dampen and dulls the sound and note. Read more
