The size is very large, so I don’t have to refill it constantly, and most importantly, my cat really likes it. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this fountain to replace an eight year old one that was similar. Our cats have had zero issues acclimating since they’re used to fountains. For this review, I want to mention the unexpected advantage of the fountain’s rounded square design. I love that I’m better able to refill the water directly from the refrigerator’s filtered water (see video). Seems like a minor and super-specific thing, but I used to have to fill a pitcher twice and make two trips to fill the old one.
