I love my Oral B Braun Pro. So does my dental hygienist! It makes her job a lot easier. I go through the toothbrush heads pretty often, and have to pick them up in groups of three from the supermarket. Well, not this time, I obtained these Toothbrush Heads Compatible with Oral B Braun Pro 1000 by Diamondsmile.io. In the majority of my reviews, products start out with five stars. I deduct stars for each characteristic that could be considered universally unfavorable. I've given these toothbrush heads five stars. Let me explain: Pros: - These are just as good as the ones that you buy at the supermarket with the Oral B label. Although I have only used one of these about three times so far, I see absolutely no difference in the firmness, the way it attaches to the the bottom of the brush, and the speed at which the head runs. - This is not really a feature that I can make use of (at least that I can think of right now...), but the toothbrush heads have bottoms that come in four different colors: red, blue, yellow, and green. For a family who has four members, this is fantastic because if you can't keep track of which brush belongs to who, or if you are in rotation with the same brush base, you can keep track of who has what brush head color. - I just thought of a use of the four colors! Each color represents a month long span, so that at the end of the month, you change the color! - Sixteen of these heads cost about the same as four that come with the Oral B brand name. Cons: - Nothing yet! I do see that they might fall off the brush base earlier than the brand's heads, but I have yet to see why that may happen. I may switch mine more often than other people do. These fit on my toothbrush just fine and seem to operate just as well as the original replacement heads. I don't think I would ever know they weren't the brand name replacements. The only complaint is that they are much firmer than the Oral-B ones, and I don't see soft/medium/firm options available. Not only are there fewer bristle bundles, but the bristles themselves are shaped differently and are thinner. I have only been using them for just under a week and so cannot attest to their long-term longevity. However, they do seem to be doing a good—but not exceptional— job of cleaning my teeth. For the cost-conscious consumer or a big family, the savings cannot be ignored. But I think it would take an oral hygienist to determine their actual efficacy in removing deposits on the tooth surface. Meanwhile, this product appears to get the job done at a reasonable price. Ordered for my basic Oral B electric toothbrush & they fit seamlessly. I like that they have the color coded bands around the bottom of the head so multiple people with the same toothbrush can identify whose is whose. One important thing to state right off the bat. If you bought these expecting them to be the same quality as the name brand Oral B ones, you'll be disappointed. However, for a mere fraction of the price, I'm willing to forgive the cheaper look and feel and less durability. I think for what you pay, these are a bargain and work fine with my Oral B toothbrush. These brush heads fit my Oral-B iO perfectly and really lifted buildup I didn’t even realize was there. After a couple brushes, my teeth felt polished and fresh.
