Strong adhesive

I used these to replace suction cups that were not working on a sink caddy in our kitchen. After cleaning the spot well, including using rubbing alcohol and drying it, I stuck two of these adhesive hooks to my kitchen sink. After several days they are still holding strong. Because of the amount of water exposure, I am not sure how long they will hold, but even if I have to replace them in a few months it is a better solution than the suction cups. Update: Well, these did not last long for my use. Interestingly, it was not the adhesive that became a problem, but the plastic hooks. I think my sink caddy just put too much pressure on the hooks because people are always putting things in there and hanging things on it. I will say that the adhesive is very strong and it was difficult to pry off the sink. But it did come off clean without leaving any residue. These will probably work well for some other use, just not for what I needed them for. Read more
