Wanted to love, but can’t :( instructions say to apply twice a day to see results. It leaves just enough residue to look greasy, so I can’t foresee this being useful for anyone unless they only wear tied back hairstyles that you can’t see the greasiness. It’s not GREASY per se but it leaves a residue that makes the hair look unwashed. I have curly hair so I only wash my hair once a week so this isn’t really going to work for someone who doesn’t wash their hair daily because applying twice daily and washing it out only once a week is going to be a lot of buildup and look greasier and greasier. I’m going to have to look for a different formula that requires less frequent application or has a lighter formula. If you’re mostly a ponytail person or a daily shower person this will probably all be fine for you. It has a nice clean smell and the pump works great. I’ve been using this 5% minoxidil foam consistently, and it’s easy to apply and dries quickly without leaving my hair greasy. Over time, I’ve noticed less shedding and some new growth along my hairline, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I have been blessed to write a review for this product. As an loyal minoxidl user for the past three years, I knew this product was a good investment for my hair. I dont have that much hair loss, but I do have spot hair loss near the sides and front of my hair. After 1 week of use I noticed some growth in the front of my hair. My bald spots are easily covered by my other strands of hair but the front is where I need some coverage. This pack comes in 6 individual bottles, and the ingredients contain minoxidil and biotin. I've used minoxidil for many years. It has slowed, but not stopped, the rate of hair loss. I tried a competing chemical last month, but that probably wasn't enough time to adequately evaluate it against minoxidil. There was no reaction between the "new" chemical was trying and the minoxidil that I have been using for years. I started with one brand of minoxodil and have used only that brand all this time, until trying this one. The first thing I noticed is the cap is easy to remove. With the other brand, I sometimes had to use pump pliers to crush the cap and break it so I could remove it. I've tried this for about 10 days. One difference I have a slight rash by my right temple. Could that be from this particular brand of minoxidil or from something else? I pulled my hair to and fro to see my scalp. It is slightly reddened. This could be due to my using too much or due to rubbing too vigorously. The other brand also uses a parsimonious pump, while this one dispenses more freely. Or it could be my skin doesn't like the biotin or castor oil. It's worth noting that there is absolutely no pain, itch, or other symptom with this. And it also could be that this version of minoxidil works because I can apply enough at a time to do that job. So instead of slowing the hair loss, I might now be reversing it. Ive been using this product for several weeks but not enough time to any results just yet. So far i have not had any scalp irritation. This product does not contain alcohol and therefore does not dry out my scalp. The foam absorbs well and does not leave any buildup on my scalp. This bundle will last awhile because just a small amount of the foam spreads well. There is almost no scent at all.
