For many years I have used a little floss container, with the cutting mechanism removed, to carry pills with me. I needed a couple more containers like what I had been using, but the floss containers these days aren't made where you can remove the cutting mechanism. I got these little pill boxes instead, and they have worked out great. They are about the same size as the old floss containers. Even though they are not big, they hold a lot of pills. They are perfect for taking a day's vitamins with you or for having a supply of pills (ibuprophen as in my case) always with you. I needed something small that could hold excedrin pills and these hold at least 6 pills (I lined mine with organic cotton so it prob holds a little more without the cotton).
