This is super strong and well made, we are very happy with it! When you open it it has an interior light. If you forget to change your battery you can open it with a key. But the way its designed you can't see the specialty key opening. It even has a drop key feature with a small key slot in the side. It has room for lots of keys so you don't need to have a drawer full of keys anymore. And after having been burglarized 3 times in the last six months. No one can get at anything we locked up. Our old key locker was easy to break into. If you mount this properly you can't break into it, or tear it off the wall because your bolts go into the studs. Actually one of the most solid safes on here. Double system backup to get into the safe if the batteries die, solid build, and I actually like the letters on the numbers. They add more complexity to aesthetic to discourage any nonsense. Light inside is great for using at night, but you will need a phone or flash light to unlock. You can set a guest password as well. I bought this safe on 10/21/23. I rarely open it maybe a total of 10 times in a year. I tried to open it today and the buttons do not register when pressed. At first I thought the batteries were dead. Luckily it come with a power pack to power the safe with an external adapter to open it. Once I got it opened I replaced the batteries with brand new batteries. The safe buttons still do not work. What a waste of money. Do not buy this safe. It is unreliable.
