I discovered these tire repair screws some time back. YouTube videos show they work, but I have not yet had the misfortune to need to use one. I have become increasingly aware of the need to help myself out of a simple tire puncture - now that I tow a camper on some pretty long trips. With eight tires on the ground, you are bound to pick up a nail now and then – and I have. This 60-piece pack of screws gives you two sizes: .2 x .47” and .24 x .55”. This gives you enough to put a supply in each of your vehicles and supply friends and family, as well. You will need a pair of plyers to remove the nail and a Philips head screwdriver to install the screw, so be sure those tools accompany these repair screws. The screws are coated in a rubbery sealant. Each is enclosed in a plastic capsule to keep it clean and keep them from sticking together. I’m not looking forward to my next nail in a tire, but I am looking forward to being prepared. I’ll post an update here if I get to do a tire repair with these screws. These appear to be excellent tire repair screws. Read more

This tire repair plug kit has plenty of pieces and is well organized right out of the package. I like how each plug is encased in its own protective plastic bubble. The rubber nail plugs look sturdy and the kit includes enough to handle multiple small tire punctures without running out quickly. The plugs themselves are flexible and work well for small punctures from nails or bolts, but anything larger would be an issue. If the hole is much bigger than the provided plugs, you will probably need to put on the spare tire or call for a tow. Everything is laid out clearly in the kit, so finding what you need when you’re roadside or in a garage situation is easy. It doesn’t come with a Phillips-head screwdriver for installation, so you’ll need to tuck one of those away in your emergency kit. I haven’t needed to use it on an actual flat yet, but based on the design and quality of the pieces, this feels like a solid emergency tire plug kit to keep in a vehicle. I am happy to keep a handful of these in each of my vehicles for that just-in-case situation. It provides peace of mind for road trips or frequent driving where small punctures can happen. Overall, it is a practical tire repair kit with plenty of plugs and tools included, though it is mainly suited for small punctures. Read more

I recently picked up this 60-piece tire repair kit, and it’s been a total lifesaver for unexpected flat tire situations. The kit comes neatly organized in a compact box, with 30 small and 30 large rubber nails, so I always know exactly which size to grab depending on the puncture. I love that it’s all self-contained—no extra tools or screwdrivers are needed, making it incredibly convenient for roadside emergencies. The spiral rubber nails with adhesive really hold fast in the puncture, creating a strong, leak-resistant seal. I tried it on a small nail hole in my car tire, and it worked perfectly. Even someone with zero mechanical experience can use this kit confidently, thanks to the simple insert-and-screw design. Having two sizes is a huge bonus, the small nails cover tiny punctures like pins or nails, while the larger ones handle bigger holes. This versatility means it’s suitable for cars, motorcycles, trucks, and even tractors or ATVs. I also appreciate how portable it is; it fits easily in my glove compartment, which is perfect for long drives or camping trips. Overall, this kit gives peace of mind knowing you can handle flat tires quickly and safely without a tow or expensive repair. A must-have for anyone who drives regularly, whether for commuting, travel, or off-road adventures. Highly recommended. Read more

As a mother with two teenagers in the house who drive, having something like this on hand is a very good idea. Kids don’t always pay attention to where they’re driving or what’s in the road, so tire issues definitely happen. My husband is a mechanic, so we try to keep useful items like this at home just in case the kids run into problems with their tires. It gives peace of mind knowing we have a quick solution available without immediately needing a tow or repair shop. The kit comes with a nice number of pieces, and everything is stored neatly in the included case, which makes it easy to keep organized. The size of the kit makes it convenient to store in the garage or even in the vehicle if needed. The quality looks good and the pieces appear well made and durable. This is one of those items you hope you don’t need often, but you’re really glad to have when you do. It’s practical, useful, and a smart item to keep around, especially in households with newer drivers. Read more

If you’ve ever used a traditional plug, pulling the nail out is the easy part, shoving the rubber insert in the hole is the tough part so this concept of screwing the plug in seemed so much easier which is why I jumped at the idea of ordering these. One thing I noticed when these came in is that these are literally metal screws with some sort of rubber or gel between the threads to help seal the hole, essentially replacing a nail/screw with an actual screw. Fortunately I haven’t needed a plug yet to try these out but I’m a bit skeptical since I thought this was some sort of rubber seal and not an actual metal screw. They do come in two sizes depending on how bad your damage is, and the concept of screwing the plug in makes life so much easier. The amount of plugs you get for the price is great as well compared to traditional plugs. Read more
