Works well with standard speakers or headphones. Not for bluetooth cars or videos at all. They don't really tell you that, but for the sale price I bought it for - I kept it for the 64gb and flexibility of sound. Read more
This is a great little player! Comes with ear buds and a case too! Read more
I liked the idea and the apps on it but trying to do anything with the music tried my patience with a vengeance. It was not hard to add music to the device but everything after that was a trial. Want to create a playlist you either have to add the whole album by going through the artist category then the album or if you want a mix of individual songs and not the whole album you have to click on a song which plays it then add to a specific playlist then go back two screens (if its from the same album, further if you want a different album) click on a new song which plays it then add that one. Then if you want to stop the music you have to click on a song which starts to play it but then you can pause. And no there is no way to organize or create a playlist through the computer. You can only add things to your device not sort or anything. Also there is no scrolling or button to go page by page, you get a button that you tap and takes you one song at a time and you have to start all over if you miss tap. I did not even test out the other features because the music tested my patience so much. Read more

The PINHUI MP3 Player markets itself as a multi-functional MP3 Player capable of playing music and videos, with support for eBooks, pictures, FM Radio, etc. Why would you want to watch a video on a 2.8 inch display in 2026? The first annoyance I found when unboxing the player was attempting to feed the lanyard into the mp3 notch - it's squared off instead of curved so you can't just feed it into one hole and have it slide out the other hole. I spent a good ten minutes trying to get the lanyard slid into the notch, gave up and challenged my spouse to do it. Another ten minutes and a bread twist tie later, it finally was attached, now the protective case they provided has even smaller holes so there is no way I was going to even bother with that. The eBook app displays txt files, I can't imagine someone trying to read an actual eBook on this device. You can delete the demo data that is on the device but you can not remove the apps pre-loaded on it, so if you remove the txt files for the eBook app, the eBook app will display "Empty disk!" if you attempt to open it. For a device which tries to do so much, it just barely succeeds in doing what it was meant to do. It can play mp3s and the bluetooth connection does work, I loaded 4 different folders with music onto the player, however the Music player app forces you access your music either by all songs, artists, albums, genres & playlist. Honestly I gave up on trying to figure out how to actually setup the playlist, as for the other options the player uses the metadata from the mp3s. If you prefer to have your songs sorted by folders like how I loaded them onto the player, you can access them by going to folder view > music and then tapping on the folder you want to select and then the mp3 which will open the music player app with the songs within the folder. The user interface isn't the best, if you have a lot of songs loaded on the player, it will offer you a right and left button when viewing the list which moves the selected item either up or down by one. Thankfully you can use swipe up and down to access the next page of songs, swiping left goes by and swiping right will.... oh swiping right will allow you to add the selected song to a play list or play it when you are viewing the list of songs... and if you swipe right when the song is actually playing it gives you a list of optios such as play mode, sound settings, delete, etc. The main button on the screen takes you back to the main menu. As for the some of the other apps, I found myself being prompted to "please wait" which was annoying. If you want a simple mp3 player for offline usage, then you found your player, however you could probably do better with another brand. Read more

This little bluetooth capable mp3 player is great for the money. Easily would have paid a lot more a few years ago for something so capable. Great small size to toss in a purse or such to be able to have it ready to go on a grocery shopping trip or otherwise running errands. While not amazing in terms of menu structure, it is pretty familiar if you're used smaller electronics like this. It is quite functional however and once you learn it, you almost understand how it is intuitive versus it being intuitive right away. There's lots of features on here I wouldn't use, like a photo section and video section, but I could see someone using who maybe travels by bus or train every day. This is a music player for me. That being said the sound quality is nice, with a decently functional EQ you can change settings on. The user interface is pretty quick to navigate around. Older touch generic mp3 players were so laggy they were not fun to use. This is similar to a lower end phone as far as navigation speed. The included wired headphones are better sounding than expected. I don't know how durable they will be but it is nice to be ready to go as soon as you open it, and makes it more of a complete gift. This is a great higher end stocking stuffer for someone and I'm sure they'd be happy to receive it. I was happy to see a silicone case and a small strap included with it. I could see attaching this to a backpack or something and having it work as a zipper pull if you weren't too worried about it getting banged up. I know I would have used it that way when I was younger as I always had headphones and music when i had my backpack so that would work out great with this small device. Excellent little Mp3 player that is better than the value of the price tag. Read more

Volume is quite low. Sound quality is good. Cuts out every now and then too. Overall functions are good. It is slow starting. You can't add apps so it's quite limited. There are better players in the $20 range that are similar. Read more
