Big Capability in a Compact Package

Mark in NCFebruary 15, 2026✓ Verified purchase

These mini thumb drives are amazing! Since cars no longer have CD players (ok, I'm old), I still wanted to hear some of my favorite tunes on the road. Since my newer car DID have a USB port as part of the entertainment system, I wanted to have a memory stick that would hold lots of music, leave it plugged in, and yet not stick out too far where it could be accidentally hit. These 64 GB mini flash drives are exactly what I needed. It is really hard to believe something so small has so much storage capability -- but they do! I really like their size and performance. I'm sure I'll find other uses, too! Read more

Adequate for a few media files; be sure you don't get one too large for your device (32GB)

DaveFebruary 19, 2023✓ Verified purchase

There are many reviews complaining these don't work in embedded devices, but they're using 64+ GB disks. I specifically chose these 32GBs as the upper-limit to the CD player in the car. Write speed is low as others will mention. Some day 1MB/s, I see more than that but I see a bunch of big writes and big pauses. This is NOT the worst flash drive I've ever owned for write speed. It will be slower than uploading something, yes. Speed will go up and down inconsistently. Be sure to only let 1 thing write at a time, pause other copies or wait or use a file copy manager. See pic for what not to do, see up and down graphs. Putting this in a Kenwood CD player, on Shuffle All (shuffle folder & track), skips "instantly" to the next track, like quicker than a CD changing track. This is sufficient read speed for a few MP3s. I can't speak to the fake capacity issues others are having, I've written 29GB to this without noticing an overwrite loop yet. I can't speak to longevity, but I appreciate the other reviewers mentioning short-term failure. I'll be sure to use these for recreational things only, not as backups. Read more

Good

Big enough to easily pull out especially with linyard, but small enough not to snag on anything. I use them in cars for music. Read more

They work great with the blink camera system for back up on the multiple cameras . They are compatible and easily removed. They're very lightweight and the color works well with everything else being white making them very easy to use. Thank you very much . . . Vern Read more

Reliable USB drive for Music in Vehicles

Michael StrozierDecember 22, 2025✓ Verified purchase

These drives work great. I have 3 of them and use for MP3's for my vehicles. You need to format them as Fat32 and they worked just fine in my Mercedes, Tacoma and Jeep Wrangler without issue. They are low profile so are well hidden. The storage size is perfect for it's intended usage. One thing to keep in mind with these drives, due to being low profile they have little to no cache. So when you are copying large files, say 10GB of data, it will write to the drive then pause at 0kbs due to the internal cache filling up and writes again. So a 10GB set of data could take 2 - 5 hours to write to this drive. It is better to move your folders in small batches. I copy 3 - 5 folders at a time around 1GB or less and have no issue. As for the lifetime of these drives, I've had the one in my Mercedes for 3 years with no issue. The one in my Tacoma for 1 year and just a few months in my Jeep. Neither has failed. Read more

Not Reliable, Crashes often

Terrible flash drive. It gets malfunction easily and not very reliable to store valuable data on it as it crashes often. I would like refund and be happy to return back to you. Read more

Use them in the car

photoguyFebruary 22, 2026✓ Verified purchase

These seem to work well so far. I bought some really cheap ones from China, but one corrupted and one simply fell apart. So I bought these more expensive ones. They each come with a long lanyard if you choose to use it, which is handy for use in the car, where the port is hidden back in the dash compartment. I use them on car trips for podcasts and music, so they get some abuse from heat and cold. Have a couple of trips coming up, so will update my review if something changes. Have not used K&ZZ before, but hope they stand up. Read more
