I’m about to use this on a plane for my destination wedding. It easily fit my 3 (not super bulky) wedding dresses (1 ceremony, 1 reception, & 1 for a post-wedding beach photo session). All dresses were long and all had their own dress bags that I just fit inside this garment bag for extra protection. Will update after flying and traveling. Love having the extra bottom pockets for shoes and other wedding day essentials since I can’t take a normal carry on, as this bag counts as my carry on. I put my wedding day robe & getting ready pj’s in this bag as well. I like I can use it tri-fold for the plane or bi fold. I did have to reorganize the bag to make it fit tri-fold style though. One thing I would add to this bag to make it better would be adjustable straps inside on the clips. Right now they’re not adjustable but bc I have the dress bags, it helps keep everything in place. But could see if you don’t have a dress bag inside it could slide around and not the dress tightly. The length is good for wedding dresses or probably suits. I bought this to transport my wedding gown. I chose this one for the extra length and it was recommended for wedding gowns. Once i received it i was a bit disappointed. It has no gusset to it so I'm not sure why it's recommended for something as large and bulky as a wedding gown. It is, however, somewhat sturdy and appears to be waterproof. It doubles over and has carrying handles so i can take it as my carryon should there not be a place to hang it in the plane. I just hope i can get my dress in it without wrinkling it too much. This garment bag worked perfect for our destination Vegas wedding! It folds up small enough to carry on and put in the overhead compartment (in pic!!). I simply loved it. I ordered it to put my wedding dress that was going to another destination and my dress was packed very well, not wrinkled, in good condition and it also transported my husband's entire tux with shoes. I love the bags for the shoes and accessories, very convenient and easy to transport, excellent material and I love that it can be folded and I did fold my dress several times. This bag was perfect for transporting several long gowns to a conference. It is very sturdy material, has two big pockets and can be folded over once or twice and secured with a wide strap. I was intending to use it as a carry-on but ended up checking it. On the way back I added two jackets and several dresses and it accommodated all that with no problem. The only down-side I can think of is that it can't be locked, but I supposed this could be remedied somehow by putting large rings around each handle and then locking them together with a TSA-approved lock. I am having a destination next year and purchase this bag to see if it would be helpful for tracking with a Wedding dress. It is a good size, but I’m not sure a full size wedding dress would fit comfortably. There is a clear panel so if you’re trying to hide what your dress looks like from your fiancé, they could potentially see it. It does not come with a long shoulder strap so you must use the handle or try to sit it on top of a suitcase. With just a dress and a suit, it hurt my shoulder to carry. The compartment that holds the clothes does not 100% fully close. There is a small opening at the top that does not zip shut, where the hangers are. This leaves risk of food or water or debris coming in. The material is thin but maybe water resistant. Overall, good for traveling but not for a wedding dress. Read more
