In my photos you can see my boyfriend (he’s about 6 feet tall) standing next to it, and the tripod reaches a perfect working height without needing to bend down. It’s very portable and doesn’t feel heavy when carrying it around. The smoothness of the pan and tilt movements is great it allows steady adjustments without shaking. I also like the foldability it folds down compactly and quickly, so packing it up is simple and fast. Assembly was easy, and I love that the set includes two quick-release plates and a phone holder everything you need is already there. That bugged me enough that I decided to take it out on a hike and snap some real shots of it in action. The binocular adapter fits perfectly with the 1/4" socket on my binoculars and feels solid, not flimsy like I expected. Big win there. Bought this for a Vortex spotting scope as an entry level tripod because the Vortex tripods are much more expensive. It works OK, but the scope doesn't tighten down very well on the tripod so it is easy to bump it off target when using it. Read more
