They work well as backup chargers and are perfect to have on hand when you need one unexpectedly. The price is great for the quantity you get and having multiple lengths is genuinely useful. That said, I wouldn’t recommend these as your primary everyday charging cable or for frequent travel. The quality varies a bit and I found that repeatedly rolling them up and using them heavily caused some of the cords to stop working fairly quickly. Once I stopped moving them around and left them in place, they worked much better. Overall, these are best used as backup or secondary chargers rather than your main cable. Just plugged one in about 15 hours ago. It did work at first, and when my phone was charged, I unplugged it. A few hours later, I reached down to pick up the cord and burned my hand because the cord had gotten so hot that It actually burned off the rubber coating as you can see in the picture. Obviously this is a pretty big malfunction. I have no idea if it’s typical of this product, but I’m not willing to chance it. This could’ve burned my house down if I didn’t happen to be home and catch it in time, as the charger was resting on the carpeted floor. Having used the other chargers that came with it, I can say that, for the most part, they all worked well, at least for a little while as chargers of this quality tend to do, until one day they just stop working. I did appreciate the fact they came a variety of colors and lengths. I won’t be repurchasing from this company, just because this was a pretty close call, and I’m very fond of my house.
