Works great! I am Salvadoran and we had been wanting to make quajada (a form of fresh cheese) for quite some time. These cheese cloths worked great for it. As a kid helping my great aunt, we used to use a more traditional cloth but they used to always rip. So I was afraid this might be the case here but the nylon does seem to be quite durable, at least for the time being. Read more

I read the reviews and I still thought these would be more sanitary and functional than cloth bags I put in the wash--the fact these have flat bottoms and can be freestanding was a really big draw. Those thoughts are all true. However, the biggest one, which is the one I would probably use most, has had its drawstring sewn into the seam, so it will not draw closed, and unlike other reviewers, I am not a sewing person. On the fence about returning or just living with not being able to fully close the biggest one. Sigh. Read more
