A Decent Set of Standard Legal Pads

In my work life before I retired a few years ago, I used a lot of legal pads to take notes and, especially in the days before widespread use of computers, to draft documents. In my retirement years, I have not changed that practice, and I still use a legal pad just about every day for note-taking. These pads are a decent product. Each pad contains 30 sheets of ruled paper, with 37 lines per page. Each page is just under 11 inches long, and the whole pad, including the binding at the top, is 11.75 inches long. The pad is 8.5 inches wide. The pages are perforated at the top, making it easy to tear off a page without ripping it. The paper is fine to write on. I used a standard gel pen, and it wrote clearly. The ink did not bleed through to the other side of the page. I found the paper to be just slightly rougher and lighter in weight than I was used to. But I would have no problem using these pads for general note-taking. If you can find this set of pads at a price that is competitive with the prices of other brands, I would not hesitate to make the purchase. Read more
