This is a good value for a set of 6 good quality, legal style, standard paper letter sized (not legal sized) collage ruled notepads. They come wrapped in plastic and you get 6 notepads total in the set. Each notepad has 30 sheets (if you count front and back of the page you have 60 pages of writing on 30 sheets of paper) (6 notepads times 30 sheets in each notepad equals 180 sheets between the 6 notepads). The paper is a good, standard notepad thickness at 80GSM. The collage ruling has good spacing and is well marked out on the paper with the lines and spacing. One area of the listing states collage ruled, one says wide ruled (9/32”). I think they are collage ruled vs wide ruled. They are not a spiral style but are bound at the top (not side) in a flip the page over (flip one page over the other while still attached to the pad) or perforated tear off (to remove a page) style. Both the front and back of the pages are lined for double page use. They have a cardboard backing for stability during use and to help place them in a folio. Note that these don’t come with any pens, pencils or writing implements. Note that no padfolio, folio, clipboard or organizer comes with them. They will work well in those that have an area to hold standard letter sized paper. If you have a folio, padfolio or organizer with a standard letter sized paper pad, this will be a good refill for it. Note that while it is a legal pad style, it’s not a legal paper size. It’s a standard writing, letter paper size of 8.5” by 11” vs a larger legal paper size. Read more

Great value for college ruled, standard paper sized legal pads. The paper is a good weight that stands up to writing (uniball 207, Pilot G2 Fine, BIC Round Stic) and highlighting (Sharpie Tank, Stabilo Boss, Zebra Mildliner) without bleed through. The cardboard backing was not strong enough for me, a heavy writer, so I did need the addition of a clipboard for support while notating. Despite my heavy-handed writing, there was little to no ghosting on the pages. The perforations are enough to support quick, straight tearing without jagged ripping of the pages. The paper is a bright white color, not a dull off-white that comes with many budget notepads. Read more
The item description is confusing -- it says "legal" and "8.5 x 11"; it also says "college ruled" and "wide ruled." In fact, these pads are college ruled, not wide rule; they are 8.5 x 11, not 8.5 x 14. Each pad has 30 sheets, which to me is more suitable for furnishing a meeting room, vs. using it at my work desk. I would have preferred a 50 or 100-sheet notepad for work. The weight of the paper is fine, I tested with pencil, pen, Sharpie, and black marker. Paper notepads are fine, but -2 stars for the poor description Read more

Good paper for a decent price. Thick with no bleed through. Read more
I recently bought quad ruled pads and posted my comments for them on that product page. I am replicating that review here because my impressions are the same; I rarely work to published plans when I am designing and fabricating my wooden projects. One of my favorite things to do is to settle down at my workbench with a good cigar and sketch pad and design the next great thing (in my fevered brain anyway). What am I, the lowly lay-person, supposed to say about a pad of paper? The grid lines are straight (they are)? easy to see (even through the cigar smoke)? Yes, easy to see. Would I use it for toilet paper in a pinch? No. It is too thick for that. Oh yes; the paper is white too. All of this at a great price. Read more
I received this pack of 6 legal pads and, right away, appreciated how easy it was to keep my desk organized with a fresh pad always ready. The white paper and narrow ruled lines suit my handwriting nicely—neat columns, no crowding, and big enough for all my running to-do lists. Perforated edges mean I can tear out a page smoothly, which is handy when I need to pass along a note without looking like I wrangled it from a bear. There are 30 sheets in each pad, so while they’re not as thick as some, I like that—I can slip one into my briefcase or a drawer at home without worrying about bulk. For some shoppers, the relatively lower sheet count might be a downside, but honestly, it keeps my stack from tipping over, and I use them up before they start looking ragged. For me, these legal pads have been especially useful during longer phone calls when I jot down reminders or action items. No more scribbling on the back of a receipt or searching for a blank envelope. Solid helper for daily tasks and small enough to keep me from getting buried in old notes. Read more
I am pretty surprised with these notebooks. The amount of pages in each, and the thickness, honestly aren't worth the price. You can get these types of notebooks anywhere. There are plenty around that are thicker and have a lot more pages. The paper itself feels super thin and flimsy, so I really don't have high expectations that they won't easily tear. Thinking about the price and what each notebook consists of, putting all of them together would equal to 1 full notebook from other places. Because of that, these really are a bad deal. You're basically paying almost $2.00 a piece, and only getting 30 extremely thin pieces of paper. There are so many other options out there and they're less expensive but have more paper. Read more
