If your Xbox Elite controller is feeling numb when you press on a paddle, you might be able to fix it with a new set like this. These come in a less than idea plastic box that had the pieces unsecured. My D-pad got a little knicked. But the pieces themselves are very close to OEM, though darker and maybe heavier. Now the tricky part is in saying if they are effective. As Xbox Elite paddles wear the plastic button underneath, not every new paddle will restore the tactical clickiness. I had one "dud" paddle in my case, but the others proved useful and have my controller feeling new again. Read more

Packaging is a clear hard shell box, and no tape so when I received in larger shipping box, the box had busted open and parts were scattered around in the big shipping box. Fortunately, I was able to collect them all together. Interestingly there was an additional piece that I received (USB-C male to USB-A female dongle adapter) that wasn't advertised in the listing. Okay on to the review. A bit of background information is I have the original Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers as well as several Xbox Elite Series 2 "Core" controllers. The core controllers don't come with the full accessory kit so I've ordered several xbox series 2 paddles to compare and to add to my collection. I also have the original Elite Series 2 paddles to compare against. How do these stack up to the original? The material, great quality with the metal seemingly matching closely to what's used in the original paddles. The shape, both directional d-pads and smaller (top) paddles match the original OEM paddles and work just like the originals. Unfortunately the larger winged (bottom) paddles have issues. It appears they don't extend out as far (but only ever so slightly smaller). This is not the major issue with them though-- once the paddles are on, they feel *mushy* to press and don't register a click with the audible clicky sound. This effect is most noticeable if you try to depress the paddle on the farthest edge of the paddle ends. I have to caution against using paddles that don't fit well on the controllers. The connector points on the controller are plastic molded holes, while the paddles are metal. Imagine an ill fitting metal paddle scraping against the plastic and causing deformities on the connector, thus damaging your controller. You can think of it like a stripped screw. So when you're thinking about getting replacement paddles, you definitely want to make sure the company can make precise fit accessories. So while I will likely junk the paddles, I am appreciative of the directional d-pads in particular because the core controllers don't come with the cross d-pad, and also we get black d-pads instead of their original colored ones on the core controllers as an alternative color option. Got an Xbox elite core controller recently and didn’t realize it did not come with the paddles on the back of the controller. This is why it is cheaper than the elite controller. I found these paddles on Amazon and figured I would give them a try. They arrived quickly in a small plastic box. They seem well crafted and fit the controller perfectly. Now I can actually use those buttons on the back as they were intended. Read more
