Granddaughter loved them she likes to dance and this was so much fun. Read more
I bought these for my music students to take home for practicing (I use them to help parents correct technique and "click" instead of saying "no" to the child). They are so cute and perfect! One was missing, so I contacted the seller and they were very prompt to send me replacements. I am very pleased with their service! If I need more, I would buy them again. Highly recommend. Read more

We wanted to buy our 5 year old some castanets after she saw them on a kids show. With limited budget options available, I decided to give these a try. First off, these are a good option for anyone who doesn't want to spend too much, especially when considering the attention span of kids. They work and do what they're supposed to... they click and clack and all that! My daughter has fun using them. However, I do not agree with the description that these are safe for children 12 months and older due to choking hazards. These are not for children who put things in their mouth since these castanets do fall apart fairly easily. If you have a mouthy toddler, please supervise them while using these. The eyes are poorly glued on and we had several fall off. We caught our daughter just in time as she popped one in her mouth like it was a piece of candy. This is a choking hazard, not to mention I hope the paint used on these are non-toxic. The string on another came lose and we could not tie it back together again. These are good budget castanets for appropriate situations. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them to everyone due to the poor craftsmanship and dangerous choking hazard. Read more
