I purchased the neck and face LED mask set in July and have been using it faithfully 3-4 times a week since. It's a pleasant experience using the mask; very relaxing. I noticed after about a month of use that the spidery fine broken blood vessels on my cheeks were fading. That was something I wasn't even hoping to correct. I was more concerned about fine lines and wrinkles, which are also slowly fading and becoming less noticeable. I'm very pleased with how well this tool corrects skin issues on my face and neck. I stored it flat inside the box it came in to protect it and minimize flexing, since I know electrical connections can be sensitive to flexing and bending. Recently, I noticed the LED lights started flickering on and off while flexing the face and neck mask during use. I reached out to Nourished Bodynskin through their customer service email to let them know of the problem. They responded the same day, asking for a short video showing the problem. Once they received it, they quickly processed a replacement. In this day and age of horrible customer service, it was refreshing to reach out to a company, get a quick response, and a quick resolution to the problem. I will recommend this product to all my friends, not only for its effectiveness in improving skin but also for the fantastic customer service and support after purchase. Purchased in July and have been using this 2 to 3 times a week. Easy to use with noticeable positive outcome. 2 days ago started having problems with the face mask. Charge the battery, plug in the neck and all is well. Plug in the face mask and blip, all is dead. Not sure what to do. Read more
The product seems promising, I have been using for a 2 weeks, more or less 4 days a week. Box came opened, no plastic to seal, but everything shows okay. My opinion for improvement would be a better straps, a better way to wear the straps. it is hard to wear and it hurts and mark my face. I can’t leave too loose otherwise I guess it wouldn’t be effective, but I can’t leave thigh to avoid hurt me. So definitely I would love that they have better straps. If they create a solution, I would love to hear. In general it seems a good product. Read more
Really impressed with the quality and results so far! I’ve been using this LED face and neck mask for a few days now and I’m honestly loving it. The quality feels premium — the silicone is flexible, comfortable, and fits nicely without feeling heavy. The LED lights are bright and evenly distributed, and I really like that it includes Near-Infrared for deeper repair. I have oily skin with some acne and a few scars, and I can already see my breakouts calming down and my overall tone looking smoother and more even. I really liked this, however the cord that attaches to the face mask appeared to be broken, or defective. I had this about a week before it started going off on its own. If I adjusted the power cord it would light up again and go off again as soon as I let go of it. I returned it and went with something else as I did not want to risk going through that again. The face mask and neck portion are both easy to use. I find both items to be comfortable. My only recommendation would be that’s a booklet that describes to different lighting options. The prints were darker and slightly larger. Read more
I've been eyeing the more expensive versions this red light therapy set is based on, but haven't been willing to drop the money, so I was excited to try these. Overall, I'd say this is an okay set that may be worth giving a try depending on your needs and budget, but it does have some downsides. The good things first: According to the provided specs, the Red and NIR light wavelengths are supported by studies as the correct wavelengths for anti-aging and collagen building. This set does have many light colors, though not colors all are shown to have any benefit. I'm mostly interested in the combo of Red and Near Infrared light that's been shown to benefit skin. This set is easy to use with the included control pack that has clear and intuitive buttons and display. I love that it has the face AND chest mask, and that you can plug both into the control pack at the same time so treatment for both doesn't take long at all. Both pieces mold fairly well to the body, though the chest piece does make some crinkly plastic sounds as you move it. The not so good: According to the data I can find, irradiance of less than 40mW/cm2 has not been shown to be effective. This set's irradiance is 35 mW/cm2 (the booklet doesn't specify how this varies with the control pack's power levels, so I'm assuming this is the max power level, and the lower power selections are even less). This is close to the minimum level for benefits, but not quite there. So I have to ask myself if I want to invest the time to use this regularly when it might not be powerful enough to elicit results. The manufacturer doesn't indicate that this device is FDA cleared. And finally, the straps are cheap and terrible. They're somewhat stretchy velcro, with the very ends of the straps made of the coarser "grabby" type of velcro. This means that you have to fold the ends back on the strap after inserting through the holes in the silicone--since the ends of the straps are the same material, they can't meet at the back of your head. This would be fine if the straps were stretchier, but they're not stretchy enough that you can set the correct position and then rely on the stretch to don the masks without adjusting the velcro. With the mask, this is a little annoying, and the straps tend to catch my hair. With the chest piece, the strap doesn't stretch anywhere near enough to put it on, so you have to remove one side of the strap from the silicone, then re-insert it once you have the chest piece on (they're a tight fit, so this isn't something that's easy to do without looking at it). If I do keep using this set, I'll be replacing the straps. Read more
