Working great so far for my dad, who has dementia, to know what day, date, and time it is, and, as a bonus, the time of day, as he gets easily confused about that, too. The numbers and letters are big and bright, serving their purpose very well. Note that these are plug-in clocks with an internal battery that keeps time during power outages. I haven't used the remote, so I can't speak to it, but everything else works great, and it is easy to set up. There are plenty of features, including alarms and a medication reminder, which I have not used. Time seems accurate so far. I bought this clock for my elderly parents to help them remember what day it is. It is very easy to read and set up. It’s super easy to see the numbers, day of the month and week, and they LOVE it!! It even tells the current weather! It keeps great time, seems durable, and looks classy sitting in their den. The brightness can be adjusted, but I leave it on full brightness to help them always see it. The buttons are located on the back and are easy to use. It does need a plug for a power source. I ordered this FLYRUIT 10.1'' Extra Large Digital Clock for my 90 year old dad and his 95 year old wife. They are able to see, and understand, the large display eliminating a couple frustrations for them. Although we maintain a large calendar on the wall with appointments, birthdays and holidays, they were having a hard time keeping track of what day it was; therefore how do you know what is scheduled for the day. Between the large day of the week and date at the bottom of the clock, it enables them to keep track of what is happening today. The extremely large time in conjunction with the time of day, ie morning, afternoon, evening, has also cut down on the phone calls, “when are you going to be here…. “ Getting old and losing control of so many things, truly sucks! Anything you can do to give older people a bit of control back is a definite plus. We have now purchased three of these easy to set up clocks, two for the parents and one for us, being retired I lose track of the days sometimes too. Note I understand, “ This digital alarm clock includes 6 programmable alarms and 10 customizable reminders” so it can be even more useful. Love this frame clock! I thought it would have a pull out stand too, so it can stand by itself (as it is doing in the picture) but it didn't. However, other than that, it is GREAT! This clock is especially great for senior citizens who have trouble remembering what day it is. The display is large enough to easily read from across the room. It also helps with taking medications on time, with the alarm features. It was so easy to set up. I just took it out of the box, attached the stand and plugged in the AC adapter. It was already set for our time zone when I plugged it into the wall. It shows the day of the week, the time of day (along with whether it is morning, afternoon, evening or night) and the date.
