I honestly don't think I can go back to a standard roll-up mat after using this folding one. It is so much faster to pack up after a class; you just flip the sections over and you're done, with no curling edges to fight against next time you lay it out. The cushioning is surprisingly dense for how thin it looks, providing plenty of protection for my knees during floor poses. It fits perfectly under my bed or flat in the bottom of my closet, which saves me from having a random tube standing in the corner. The grip is solid too, even when things get a little sweaty during a workout. It’s a simple design change that makes storage and transport way less annoying. Read more

This 30% fold yoga mat is a truly excellent overall experience, even more practical than the regular roll-up yoga mats I've bought before. First, it unfolds to a very large surface area, with a length and width wider than typical yoga mats. You won't feel cramped or feel like you're about to fall off the mat when doing various poses. Whether it's side stretches, supine relaxation, or exercises requiring a wide range of movement, you can complete them comfortably. The thickness is just right—not too soft to cause instability in standing positions, nor too hard to cause pain when your knees or elbows are directly on the ground. It's noticeably more comfortable for kneeling poses than thinner mats. I'm also quite satisfied with the material. The POE (Polyester Effortless) material has excellent anti-slip properties, preventing slippage underfoot, especially during stability-requiring poses like planks, warrior poses, and lunges, where you can feel a strong grip. The texture is softer than traditional rubber mats, feeling comfortable under bare feet, and it doesn't feel cold in winter. After exercising, the surface is easy to clean; it doesn't absorb sweat or attract dust, which is a huge plus for those who are too tired to clean up after a workout. Read more

This exercise mat is quite large and works really well. The mat folds away nicely when you're not using it and it can be used as somewhat of a platform to do incline or decline push ups. The mat is comfortable to lay on and provides good support while doing different moves. The mat is grippy enough to prevent slips, but still soft enough to not be uncomfortable. If you're looking for an inexpensive yoga mat that is quite large, yet compact, this is a good choice. Read more

First time using a foldable exercise mat and will say this suits me well! I like the extra length so I don't have to adjust between exercises to stay fully on the mat. It is a thinner padding than I'm used to but I'm adjusting. Feels more tactile when I'm doing upright exercises, but a little less comfortable when I'm on the ground. We'll consider this a personal adjustment to what I'm used to. The bottom has a raised bump texture that keeps it in place over my carpet, the top has a small grain texture to give some additional grip, no looseness or sloppiness to my workouts, even with a little sweat on the mat. It folds up nicely so I can stow it under furniture rather than having to find an upright place for my thicker roll mats - convenient for my home workouts! The material is solid, very durable feel for a thin mat. My only concern is how the thinness at the folds will hold up over time with any stress such as skater or other moves that may wear down the seam. So far it's held up well, no visible wear with a few weeks use. Read more

I ordered this for my wife and here's her feedback: Feels sturdy and durable. The padding is pretty average thickness and sufficiently comfortable. The folding design is interesting and might not be the best for everyone's uses, so keep that in consideration. It has "seams" where it folds up, which has not been a problem but I can see some people not loving it. It is larger than a standard yoga mat, so double check the dimensions. The bigger size is great for multi-purpose at home but it might be slightly bulky for classes. The $60 price is fair and you get an overall good product assuming it fits your uses. Some reviews mentioned an unpleasant odor out of the package but there were no issues with that. Read more

Initially, I thought this mat was a little pricey but I'm so glad I gave it a shot. My previous roll-up style was about half the cost, but I didn't love it. It felt...cheap. And, my cats destroyed it one night when I left it unrolled. Oops. This fold-up style is clever and for me, is much easier to quickly store away. In fact, it fits perfectly in my weight machine; see my pic. This way, it's safe from cat claws. I'm also impressed that despite it being thin, it actually gives me the cushioning I need. Read more

This folding mat is great. I love the fact that you fold it instead of rolling it up. It saves so much space. You can store it pretty much anywhere. It’s a nice thickness. It does not slip on my wood floors nor on my area rugs. It’s durable and I like the large size. If it was a mat you had to roll that size. It would be bulky and hard to find a place to store if space is limited. Read more

I am thrilled with this folding mat! I absolutely love that it folds instead of rolls; it's so much easier to store because it takes up minimal space and fits neatly in my closet—no more having a rolled mat leaning against the wall! The thickness is perfect (0.31-inch TPE) and provides excellent, comfortable cushioning for my knees and joints. Plus, it's also larger than my previous one, giving me plenty of room for stable workouts. Overall, this is a very good yoga mat that performs well and solves a major storage hassle. Read more
