7 For All Mankind Mens Austyn Relaxed Fit Straight Leg Jeans

My favorite pair of "go to" jeans...fit great, great price through Amazon and their sellers. Sad to see 7 FMK discontinuing this line but, glad I was able to pick up another few pairs before they're gone for good. Most comfortable, and good looking denim I've ever owned (even compared to their other relaxed fit jeans). Casual enough to wear anytime, pair it with a nicer shirt and go from a great lounging jean to nice dressier look. HOWEVER...I will say that I personally they are (as I said in product fit) think the sizes have gotten a little bigger over the last couple years. About 3yrs ago and before that, I originally wore and would buy them in a size 30 (waist) and fit was perfect. I haven't lost weight, don't wear smaller pants in other brands but, with these, I now order a 29 to get the same fit. If you've bought these in the past, I'd maybe recommend going down one size than you'd normally purchase/wear. Read more

I like its fitting ( after getting it altered), quality, comfort and color of the denim is nice. I wear 30 size in other brands and i had ordered 31 size in this (after going through the reviews mentioning it fits too small). When i tried, it was too large from waist and sides and then i measured the waist and it came out to be 34 inches. I am from India and it's not feasible to get it exchanged so i had to get it altered from waist to bottom. 1 inch from each side. It fits perfectly now. Read more

be sure you know your inseam size. 32" is not very long for a lot of people, even if you wear them low in the proper location on your torso. not really sure why they don't offer a variety of inseams like generic manufacturers do, but alas, they do not, at least not in this particular jean. i thought i could get away with it vs the usual 33/34" but instead it can look like high-waters coming in when sitting down and barely OK when standing. i'll have to go back and get the long inseam/34" variety. the jean itself is beyond fantastic. by far the most comfortable i've ever worn. it's not even close. one star dinged for low flexibility for inseam size (32 or 34 and that's it). These jeans are poor quality compared to other 7 for All Mankind jeans that I have purchased. They are very difficulty to button and unbutton, and the cut is loose and baggy, unlike the website description. Read more

I'm a well proportioned 6'1" 250 pounder. These are my second pair (different styles) of 7FAM jeans. Confidence inspiring . Very VERY flattering fit and super comfortable. Buy quality and only cry once. These are a great base to dress out, dress up or dress down in any style. Women admire them because they know when a mans clothes fit properly. These make me look good and am a little heavy. You don't know how good a well fitting pair of jeans can make you feel until you try some of the big guy styles from 7FAM. Read more

I'm 6'1', 195lb with a measured 33" waist and somewhat muscular with a well rounded figure skater but ;o). I wear 32" Jeans because of vanity sizing. (I like a more tailored fit). 32x34L Diesel larkees fit me just right. I bought these because from the pictures, I thought that they would be similar, so this is somewhat of a comparison review. These are the same price as Larkees when at full price, the only reason I bought these instead is because they were on sale (25% off). These fit about the same as the Diesel Larkees in the waist and seat area (which I fill in quite nicely). They are smaller in the leg area, not quite skinny jeans tight, just a tad tighter than expected for a "relaxed leg". They are significantly shorter as well (2" shorter than selected size, see note at bottom of review). They are still comfortable though due to good stretch and a soft thin material. They have a cheap feeling zipper fly as opposed to the heavy duty button up fly in the Larkees, which isn't a huge deal, but I prefer the button fly. The Diesel Larkees have thicker, but still stretchy and comfortable fabrick that "crumples" with extra length in the boot area, behind the knees and the upper thigh area that gives them a certain rugged look that I like. These jeans are too thin to hold those kind of natural creases, so they drape more like khakis, which is a different, less rugged look if that's what you are after. In the pictures, it looks like these jeans have the horizontal creases in the upper thigh, but this is just a die pattern meant to create the illusion of creases, which is a bit tacky for a $180 pair of jeans, but I guess it still looks good from a distance. Over all, for the sale price, I think they are an ok buy, but I definitely wouldn't buy then over the Diesels at full price. Fit and Sizing: (for "32x34" size selection) Inseam measures 32" (2" shorter than advertised) Wast measures 32" un-stretched, but stretches comfortably to 34" PN: T0046380S LADK Note: All measurements taken flat on floor I measured the inseam flat and the 32"X34" jeans that I ordered measure exactly 32" long in the inseam from the highest part of the crotch to the bottom of the hem. There is no indication of length anywhere on the packaging, so I'm not sure if this is the fault of the manufacturer or the creator of the listing, perhaps both. but the sizing chart needs to be fixed. Update: I received the "32x36" that I ordered, the inseam measures 35". So it appears that the inseam sizing is fairly inconstant compared to the size chart across the board. Since I was shooting for 34", I guess this will do. Too long is better than too short if you can sew. The second pair I received was used and without tags (shipped and sold by Amazon as new). The pockets are showing signs of wear at the top edges that the first pair I ordered did not have and there is a cologne smell. Since this is a product review and not a seller review, i'll refrain from taking off stars. Update #2: The elastic material in these jeans has no resilience whatsoever. When I first put them on, they were just right and had a nice tailored fit which was quite flattering in the seat area. After only a half day of wear, they loosened up a full size. They became baggy in the seat area and started to look more like a typical poorly fitting $50 pair of jeans. I have other pairs of jeans with the same amount of spandex in the blend and they don't do this nearly as much as these. They are still comfortable and maybe slightly better than a pair of Levis, but not worth price. If it weren't for the fact that they are now non-returnable, I would try a size down. Read more

I now realize that the price reflects the jeans, "The quality and fit is worth the money!" Decided to try a different fit, they are a little more roomier in the mid area and wider at the bottom but they still fit great. These feel thicker than the other straight legs that I bought (different model) and still has that used softer feel when you first put them on. I own and have owned several pairs of 7 jeans. I have found the quality and fit to be very consistent over time and across model variations. I wear a 34/32 boot cut. 7 will be my brand of jean for as long as they continue to consistently produce such a high quality product. Select pairs of these jeans are regularly marked for sale at 50+% off on Amazon. Meaning, you can pick up a pair or two of these jeans for around $80 a piece.
