As an artist who uses a plethora of power and hand tools who works with varied materials I find this set of hammers and dollies to be a good set of usable tin knocking tools. The size weight and build of these tools is good. They have minor issues with a minor outlay of money. Balance and functuality are decent and can be used as wide spectrum tools in many instances. They are extensions of my hands that help in many situations. Today glass and sea shells yesterday sheet metal tomorrow driftwood ,dollies used to shape wire. As I use and maybe abuse these tools it's much more practical to multi task with these items than to purchase dedicated tools for the many different aspects of the world of art. For about $7 apiece for polished hammers made of good quality steel with handles of fit wood I accept a pit here or there or a flat on a dolly or even a not so perfect shape. After all I am the controller of the tool so it is up to me to learn to use each tool proficiently. If you only use these for sheet metal and after reading many reviews of sets costing much more than these I think these are a good bang for your buck. I could even use these tools to give an adjustment to a stubborn computer(kidding of course?) Read more

My husband LOVED this gift. He is a tool coinesseur and says it's very good quality, and solidly made. Also, this can be used for a lot more than auto body repair- basically it can be used for shaping and flattening any steel, he says. Read more

At some point in time, someone left my Jeep CJ's hood unlatched and drove, causing it to smack the windsheild and put sharp dents across it. For my first time ever doing this, it actually came out pretty good. For all I know about this stuff, these are fine for a guy like me. Read more

So far I've been able to remove several dents from a rather irreplaceable 1967 fender. I'm sure there are better quality kits, but for the money, this is a great beginner's kit. Read more

Good body dollies and hammers. Need to remove the laqurer off the faces or hammers and dollies. Hammers are soft and tend to get dents. Not bad for an inexpensive set. Read more
