This bag was amazing for our wedding. I was able to fit my dress, his suit in a separate bag, our accessories (veil, tie, undergarments) and even our shoes in the bottom. It folds up and zips closed. Can be a little challenging at first but once you see how the zips line up it's not hard. It's about the size of a carry-on bag, we had to fly and originally were gonna hang it in closet of plane but our planes didnt have one available, so we luckily were able to find overhead bins empty to put it in, flight attendants were very helpful to find a spot for it. I chose a hard way to wed: a destination wedding. Not only that, I picked a dress with ten layers. My dilemma then was how to get my bus beautiful wedding dress to Italy. Delta airlines told me I needed to carry the dress in or buy a ticket for the dress (no thank you). So I bought this bag and used it all the way to Europe. It was perfect for international travel! The material is a little thin, so I was hesitant to check it. Instead, I used it as my carry on the whole time, which worked well. It held up fine and did exactly what I needed. I was very worried before the flight that it was too big for a carryon (it is technically longer than delta carryon measurements), especially with the dress being so big! But the dress fit, and the luggage fit fine in the overhead compartment. No issues at all! In short, but this if you need to transport formal wear on a plane. Totally with it. Read more
The bag was a little flimsy but definitely worked for an international flight. Keep my wedding dress in great condition. The handles did unravel a bit but to be fair my wedding dress was quite heavy as well. All in all the bag size was perfect and was able to fold up to a nice carry on. Read more

I found myself panicking 2 weeks before my wedding in Costa Rica when I found out that my airline (JetBlue) didn’t have a closet to hang my dress. After researching to see what type of bag I needed because my dress bag was not very flexible and didn’t fold easy… I decided to purchase this bag. I added a picture of my dress so that you can a true idea of what type of dress it was. My dress was definitely a full blown ball gown with a train and unfortunately with the pictures for the bags I researched I had to make an educated guess. All the dresses in the pictures looked like straight gowns or mermaid dresses. Well this dress would be like 3 times those dresses. Very long & very full with 4 layers. The bag was user friendly and fit very well in the over head compartment. And while the front of it was clear, once it was folded up you could not see the dress at all. I ordered this garment bag so that I could travel with my wedding attire for my destination wedding. There was one review that I read and that customer was having to do the same thing I did. And her review helped me make my decision. While there are reviews that didn’t have great experience mine was totally different! This garnet bag was PERFECT! I was able to put my wedding attire, shoes and 4 floral rings for my bridesmaids in the bag. I didn’t have any problems in the airport and the bag fit in the overhead bin on my JetBlue flight!
