I will start off by saying that I am picky when it comes to tech and I am rarely as impressed by a product like I am with this T800. The TL;DR is that this is by far the best dash cam you can purchase for your vehicle. It has everything you could want - and more. Dual 4K recording, parking surveillance, remote monitoring, voice control, 5GHz Wi-Fi, support for large micro SD cards. Here is the longer version: I will start by discussing camera quality. I don’t have much to say here as there isn’t a single critique I have when it comes to video quality. It makes use of the same Sony Starvis sensor for the front and rear camera, meaning you don’t have to compromise on the rear camera quality. The video is recorded in HDR for clear shots during the day, and performs excellent when it gets dark. The interior camera is 1080p which is plenty for a cabin view. It has a built-in IR filter that can move away from the sensor. This allows the camera to see better at night along with the IR LEDs around the lens. If you are driving and hear a small click - that’s the IR filter moving. All of this is done smartly and automatically by the camera so you don’t have to worry about it. There is also a button to disable the internal camera that can be accessed without having to go into menus if you ever needed the privacy. Parking surveillance is implemented really well in this camera. It records events and lets me know when I get in the car if there is any new footage. You also have the ability to take a time-lapse while the vehicle is parked. You can enable time-lapse and parking mode at the same time since the camera can stop the timelapse and begin parking recording if it detects any movement. The app is also another plus. The app allows you to update the dash cam, alter settings, and stream/download video from the camera. What’s great is that this camera supports 5GHz Wi-Fi which makes transferring the files much faster compared to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi that almost all other dash cams have. The app is easy to use and also provides a timeline view that makes it easier to find the footage you are looking for. You can also trim video and apply an overlay that contains additional GPS data. If you need to be able to keep an eye on your car when you are not around, this is the camera for you. It has an optional 4G hardwire kit that allows you to access the camera remotely. You can switch views too so you can see the front, rear, and cabin cameras. You can also stream footage while the vehicle is driving. Even if you don’t get the 4G hardwire kit, getting the regular 70Mai hardwire kit is a must. You will miss out on parking mode without one and a hardwire makes for a much cleaner install so you don’t have wires dangling all over the place. Read more

I bought it to replace my 70Mai A810, because I wanted the 4K rear cam in case I get hit from behind , I was immediately impressed with the build quality, set up was straight forward . It is definitely more powerful and responsive than the A810 , video quality is amazing . Motion detection is much more sensitive than the A810 . With the A810 I had to literally dance in front of the camera to trigger recording a clip . The only problem is I can’t get the 4G remote surveillance to work with , I already sent a message to support. I will update. My old setup was a 70Mai battery back with a cigarette lighter adapter cable for charging . The battery was connected to a 4G hard wiring kit using a 70Mai parking surveillance cable . The A810 was connected to the 4G kit with the included USB C cable. This setup worked fine with A810 for remote surveillance, but it is not working with T800 . Reconnecting the 70Mai A810 works immediately , can someone help please ? An update : I finally got the remote surveillance going . After hours of troubleshooting I noticed that the app is still looking for the 70Mai A810 , which means that the app and the 4G hardwiring kit up05 were configured for the A810 , that’s why it could not connect . I hard rest the 4G kit , deleted the app and reinstalled it , and every thing is working now , the parking surveillance , motion detection and collision detection , and remote surveillance . If you want all that you have to hardwire the 4G kit to your car which I dont recommend or get the 70Mai battery pack , the 4G up05 hard wiring kit, a parking surveillance cable adapter and a nano-sim card from a local AT&T store , then you’ll be all set . BEST DASH CAM BY FAR!!!!! I absolutely love this dash cam and honestly it has to be the best. The image quality is beyond amazing and clear, I’m totally amazed. I have told every co worker and family member possible and showed them my amazing footage. I brag constantly and I have turned so many people onto 70mai. Love my dash cam and I plan to buy another one for my other vehicle. Trust me it’s worth it and I highly recommend and you will not regret. The build quality is top notch and easy to setup. WiFi and functionality are perfect. Remember WiFi uses hotspot from your phone for downloading videos but it’s super fast and works perfect. Don’t waste your money elsewhere. Plus this dash cam looks more stylish and professional looking compared to the others you see. Read more

This dashcam replaced my previous one that took heat damage in the Texas sun while attached to my windshield. So far this dashcam has been excellent. Having all three cameras is a great way to keep things secure and to record everything that is happening. The ability to have voice commands is very handy. The only issue that I am having is being able to connect with the app. It doesn’t seem to want to let me connect unless I have the 4g attachment. I will still keep trying to see if I can connect, but for now I will just have to take the data card out in order to download the videos. Read more

Because I got sideswiped about 20 years ago I've started protecting myself with a dashcam. I got in a not at fault accident and because we didn't have a witness, and he lied, I ended up paying my deductible. This dashcam is the easiest and most functional that I have ever installed and used. I have had several over the years and they've all disappointed me.
