These tire plugs are really nice and super simple to use. I keep a set in my car, and they’re perfect for emergencies. The plugs themselves — basically rubber nails — work exactly like they should. I like to add a little extra rubber cement, screw them in, and the leak is fixed in minutes. No fuss, no mess, just a solid quick repair. They’re not fancy, but that’s the point. You don’t need any special tools or skills to use them. They hold air well and give you peace of mind until you can get a proper repair. I always recommend having something like this in any car — it can save you a lot of stress on the road. Simple, effective, and handy — these are a must-have for anyone who drives. Read more

This is perfect for any car breakdown kit. You get different sizes that are individually packaged to keep up with them. They are small and work perfectly for plugging a tire without the sticky mess of traditional plugs and patches. Super easy to use. Just screw into the hole. Good value for the price because you get a lot of them. Read more

This small kit is great! Much better than the old way of using a few tools and a long rubber strip. This can be done easily on the side of the road if you need to. Just remove the object, and use one of these plugs and tighten with a screwdriver! Simple! This kit is small and even includes a screwdriver. I put it in my glove box and I like knowing that they are there when needed. Whoever invented these should get the Nobel Peace Prize! Read more

I ordered this for my daughter who owns a car with run-flat tires and no spare. The car's owners manual says to attach the supplied air compressor and a can of liquid repair glue to the tire and pump it back up. Unfortunately the liquid repair goo in a can will usually throw the tire out of balance and ruin the TPMS sensor if installed. But who cares since the dealer will be happy to fix all this when you return to them as instructed. This kit really allows a temporary repair without removing the tire or ruining everything with the liquid "fix-o-flat". The plugs themselves appear to be short metal screws with silicone sealant molded around them. Some reviews on this type of kit indicate that these will seal the hole, while others tell of the silicone stripping off the screw as it's rotated into the tire. You can see this happening in the company-provided video. In either case it should slow the leak enough to get you somewhere where a permanent repair can be done. These really don't seem significantly more effective than just putting a regular woodscrew into the hole but some of the silicone may stay on and help plug the hole. Bottomline - If you have a nail/screw in the tire that's leaking air, this provides a temporary fix without removing the tire and can get you back on the road again as long as you have a little compressor to allow you to reinflate the tire. The rubber-nail kit was my answer to my car tire puncture last week, and it worked perfectly! The screws are easy to install.just plug them in with the included screwdriver and tighten up. There’s absolutely no leakage at all. I used one for a small nail and another for a slightly larger puncture, both worked flawlessly. This kit is incredibly practical because I don’t have spare tires or tools on hand most of the time. It really is worth considering if you’re someone who needs to fix tires quickly! Read more
