Right out of the box, literally, it gave the impression of above average quality. The globe is large and heavy compared to my others. The solar panel is larger than the others and has the unique appearance of being a carbon fiber disk on top. You must look close to see that it is a solar panel. The method of lighting is somewhat unique. The LEDs are in the top cover pointing down into a clear, patterned tube that goes inside of the globe. As such you are never looking directly at the LED chip when they are lit, so you don't get the bright hot spot glare that most lights have. The light does project out as it strikes the patterned tube. The globe does break up the light pattern a little bit, but a lot less than most, which seem to have had making light patterns on the ground as a primary objective. As a result, this light provides a much smoother and broader range of light on the ground. There are two sets of LED chips in the light. One set is bright white, and the other is warm white. A switch inside the top selects between Off/Bright White/Warm White. I chose to install mine using the poles and stakes in the ground, but the lights come with the hardware to use them as hanging lanterns. Read more

I was really baffled by these not lighting up at first, but I re-read the directions and figured out where I went wrong. After that, these have been great for lighting the path to our vacation rental! I love that they provide a good amount of light without requiring batteries, and even though they are shaded part of the day, they've been consistently turning on at night. Read more

Very nice set of 4 Solar Pathway Lights by Jetspark. These are a good size, great to line my driveway. They put off quite a bit of light and have a bright white or a warm white setting. They illuminate my driveway in a lovely pattern. The solar panel is larger than my other pathway lights – it’s the entire top of the lid with the LED light chips on the interior side. They also enclose both stakes with poles and hangers so you can use these as staked or hanging pathway lights. The durability and longevity of the lights are a concern – the lampshade in all of my other pathway lights is glass but here they are plastic. The pathway poles that the lamp sits upon is also plastic while on my other lights it is metal. The materials used here are more lightweight and less durable than the stronger materials of glass and metal, which makes a big difference here in Arizona where our summer temperatures are over 110° for weeks. Plastic doesn’t hold up very well during the 3-4 months of intense heat. I will just have to see how these lights do over the next several weeks. Read more

I was excited to receive these solar lights because I wanted to hang them as shown on this page (at the time I ordered them - pls see the screenshot). But what I received were alligator hooks instead of "S" hooks. And I have no idea how to use them instead! The seller needs to update this page with the correct photos of the lights to be used when hanging! Now with regard to the lights. You do need to "assemble" - but it only takes a moment - and they included one pre-assembled so you can see how to do it. They are adjustable at either around 10" or 20" high - which is nice. The light they give off is pleasant (I like the warm white). And they seem like they will hold up. But again, because I got them to use with the hanger - which is not included, I am giving it 3 stars. Read more

These Jetspark solar pathway lights come with what you need to use these as stake lights or hanging lights. They work right out of the box. I choose to set these lights up staked with warm white light to match warm white lights I have in the area. There is some assembly that is straightforward and depending on the ground you are staking these lights into the setup takes 15 minutes at most. *Note: To set light up during the day- completely cover the solar panel and slide the switch back and forth and you can see the cool and warm choices. I assembled these lights, took them to the spot I needed lit, removed the spike from the bottom and tapped the spikes into the dirt with a rubber mallet then put assembled lights right onto the spike. Easy. *The light housing is clean looking and has a solid build, one of the nicest I have seen. These throw out enough light to be pathway lights not just a glow. *The top is all solar panel and is well sealed. *The stakes could be made of a bit thicker plastic considering the light housing construction is thick and it makes the total build top heavy. So, stake them well :) Very good, nice looking, solar lighting. Read more

Two of the four already came assembled which I liked because it was easy to assemble the rest. Even if they didn't come assembled, it's still easy to put together. The BEST thing about these are that the span of the white lighting is wide so they light up the garden beautifully! They can also be adjusted to different heights (not pictured in my photos). I took a photo of what they look like in the daytime and a photo of them lit up at night. The on/off switch can be left on all the time because solar will accumulate during the day and then it automatically lights up at night. These lights are also versatile in the fact that if you want to hang them somewhere you can. Just don't put the bottom parts on (the stick parts), use the hangar option and attach to a fence around the pool or anywhere else you want to hang lights on. My box didn't come with those instructions at all, but I did figure it out. These are VERY well worth the price for what you're getting! Read more
