Great size
Perfect size and light colors that let you use any color pen or pencil you want. Perfect size for my lap board. Read more
Good, colorful, practical...mostly
Line spacing is just about right for me. Colors are not so dark that it makes reading difficult. These are thin...alleged to be 30 pages each, though I declined to count them. Thin is a mixed blessing. but for me it's mostly good. The reason is that my mini writing tablets get a lot of abuse, and by the time I have filled them up they're pretty beat up anyway. My main gripe is that the backing material is flimsy, which makes it hard to use when it's not on a flat surface. Not a deal breaker, but I wish the backing were stiffer, so I could more readily write on them when wandering around the hardware store or supermarket. Overall, though, they are good enough and I'm not sorry I bought them. Read more

Bright and functional
I like the bright colors of these legal pads. They are 8.5x11 wide-ruled as advertised and have the typical legal pad margin line that is "backwards" when you turn the page over. The cardboard back provides a firm enough surface for writing easily. The paper is pretty thin, but regular gel ink pens do not bleed through. The thinness might be a problem if you are pressing very hard or erasing, but didn't bother me. The pages are perforated to remove them from the pad, but do not rip off cleanly unless you press down on the top binding when tearing them. I don't mind doing that, so it wasn't a problem for me. I like that you get 3 different colors in this pack, and they are bright but also light enough that regular pen ink and pencil both show up fine. Overall, a good value for the money. I would order these again. Read more
