This tape is a great width for wrapping fingers so you can wrap the exact size and shape of support you want. The adhesive is strong enough to hold in place without being abrasive to your skin. It holds up to sweat and moisture well. You get a LOT of tape for the money as it's a set of 8 rolls. It can be a little difficult to tear by hand so scissors or utility knife can be handy to have. This tape is strictly finger-sized business. It sticks well enough the first time, but if you mess up the wrap and try to redo it, forget it. It is basically a one shot wonder, wrap it right or you are starting fresh. Works fine for keeping fingers together in training, but do not expect it to hold up for bigger jobs unless you enjoy disappointment. There are two rolls in each set, about 1/2 inch each. They do not separate easily, and when removing one or another they tend to fray and stick on the outside, until a few turns have been removed. I was trying to remove them as a one inch tape but they won't remove that way. They are cotton, and quite strong Each roll has very strong adhesive, and was difficult to get started initially, and I taped, separated and re-taped and I was able to get them to stick again, though not as strongly of course. One thing to note, that unlike many medical or sports tapes, this tape will not tear - you will need to cut the tape, although I was able to tear by using my teeth - as in the old fashioned way, but on one occasion it tore in the middle. Use a scissors. Also, you can use them to write on, and I found the white tape very useful as label material. Overall these are strong and will stick well and are useful for much more than athletics - just be aware that the photo on Amazon shows two rolls together and it looks like 1" tape, but the description does say 2 x 1/2 inch x 45 feet, so at $10 on Amazon today, you do get your money's worth. This tape is very similar to most athletic tapes. It's width is convenient if you need thinner strips so that you don't need to rip a standard wide roll lengthwise. It sticks well (is actually a bit harder to unroll than most tape I've used before) and stays in place while being active and sweating. The surface feels like any other athletic tape and is just as durable. To rip off pieces, you have to start on the side that is slightly frayed. I could not start ripping a piece from the non-frayed side nor could I rip a piece in to a thinner strip. Overall, it's a good tape for where you need thinner strips such as fingers and toes. this tape rocks I use it when breaking in new boots to prevent blisters, it sticks to the back of my ankles well and doesn't come off when walking. I uses it while playing volleyball to provide support but at the same time offers flexibility. It stays on and it is durable. Skin used to tear from hitting . No more with this tape. Easy to cut and use. Sticks on for long periods of time and even in water. Generous sized rolls. Great value. Doesn’t leave a nasty residue. Read more

The tape appears to come as four colored rolls, each the standard tape width at first glance. In reality, each colored roll is made up of two thin rolls that have been split in half. The tape is not too sticky or messy, and it stays in place and holds well. It does not offer much stretch and is fairly stiff, though the cloth-like material itself is flexible. Pulling the tape off the roll is harder than expected, likely because of the narrower width. Another downside is that the tape must be cut with scissors, as it does not tear easily by hand. The smaller width seems to make it difficult to create enough force to tear it without the tape just folding into a coil. Read more
