I’ve been using these replacement brush heads for over a year with my Braun Oral-B Professional Care 5000 toothbrush, and I wanted to share a detailed and honest assessment of how they perform compared to the original Oral-B heads. This is my 2nd purchase; my son uses them for his as well. Build Quality & Fit: These brush heads fit my toothbrush handle perfectly—no looseness or struggle during installation. The locking mechanism clicks in place securely just like the official heads. However, the plastic feels a bit lighter and slightly less refined than the originals. It’s not flimsy by any means, but there is a noticeable difference in finish and sturdiness if you're used to genuine Oral-B heads. Bristle Feel & Cleaning Performance: The bristles are soft to medium, which is comfortable on the gums. I didn’t experience any irritation or discomfort even during longer brushing sessions. That said, the bristle configuration and stiffness don’t feel exactly like the genuine CrossAction or FlossAction heads. They’re functional and clean reasonably well, but I did feel that plaque removal wasn’t quite as thorough, especially in tight spaces between teeth. Durability: So far, each head has held up for about 3–4 weeks with regular brushing (twice a day), which is on par with name-brand heads. However, the indicator bristles that are supposed to fade with use don’t seem to change color very noticeably, so I had to rely on time rather than visual cues to decide when to change heads. Noise & Vibration: There’s a very slight increase in vibration noise compared to the OEM heads—nothing annoying, but something I noticed right away. It doesn't affect the performance, but it might be worth noting if you’re sensitive to sound. Value for Money: This is where these brush heads really shine. At a fraction of the price of the official Oral-B replacements, you're getting a pack of eight, which is a great deal for families or long-term use. While you do give up a bit in terms of precision and feel, the cost savings are significant enough to justify the trade-off—especially if you're not super picky about the exact bristle pattern. Bottom Line: These compatible brush heads are a solid budget-friendly alternative to the pricey OEM options. While they don’t match Oral-B’s build or cleaning performance 100%, they get the job done for everyday dental care. Ideal for those looking to save money while still maintaining decent oral hygiene, as long as you're okay with the small compromises in quality and feel. Read more

They don’t exactly fit my Oral B toothbrush but they do work. Also it says they are soft but they are not. They are much cheaper than the brand name, so I guess you get what you pay for. Read more
