I had read about a time-saving trick of keeping one of the disposable dusters in the car so that you can do a quick wipe down of the interior when sitting in a traffic backup or other delay. So I was happy to find this car cleaning set that takes that idea to a whole 'nother level. I sit in my car a lot while waiting on my husband at appointments, so now I can tidy up the car with that time. Included is a generous sized duster that makes dusting the dashboard just a couple of quick swipes. But I especially like the little detail brushes. I had one of those years ago that somehow got lost along the way, but I love using those to get dust out of all the little crevices in a car's interior, like around the edges of vents and the console. Bonus info, those brushes are good for cleaning computer keyboards too. The jar of goo is interesting and it does clean tiny particles lurking around the small details in the car. The zippered bag contains everything in a neat package that fits under the seat, even in my midsize sedan. I’ll be honest — I’ve always been the “paper towels + whatever household cleaner is under the sink” type when it comes to cleaning my car’s interior. It got the job done… sort of. So when I got the chance to try the Poejeh 8-Piece Car Interior Cleaning Kit, I figured it would be nice to have, but I wasn’t expecting to be blown away. I was wrong. First impression: everything comes in a sturdy, zippered pouch that’s legitimately useful. It’s not one of those flimsy bags that fall apart after two uses — this one has structure, closes easily, and even has a little extra room if you want to toss in a small extra or two. The real stars of the kit are the brushes and the cleaning gel. There are five detailing brushes total (one large dust brush, 3 medium detailing brushes, and one small detailing brush). The bristles range from super stiff to ultra-soft, and each one has a clear purpose: • The stiff boars-hair brush digs out years-worth of ground-in crud from seams and textured plastics. • The medium-stiffness brush is perfect for dashboards, shifter areas, and door panels. • The soft brushes are great for vents, buttons, and screens without scratching anything. • The big lint brush with the long handle is a total game-changer for reaching way up under the windshield and into corners. Then there’s the cleaning gel/putty. I’ve seen these before and always thought they were a gimmick. Nope. After brushing out the loose stuff, I pressed the gel into my center console and shifter area (see the before/after photos). The after photo is literally just cleaning from this kit — no additional sprays, no paper towels, nothing. Just the brushes + gel. It actually took less effort to use the brushes than using traditional paper towels and spray. I’m kind of mad at myself for not buying something like this years ago. My interior looks much better now instead of just “wiped down.” If you’ve been half-heartedly cleaning your car with household stuff like I was, do yourself a favor and grab this kit.
