For less than $200 you can get a decent quality set of left or right handed clubs that will allow new users to get a great feel for what they need to get into golfing. The bag durability is good and should be re-usable for awhile. The clubs give a good mix for practice and their quality is good-ish for the price. The putter is the most basic design and cheap, and should be the first club to be replaced. The irons are 5,7,9,SW and are molds. They kinda scratch easy, but they work- feel wise Maybe a bit on the heavy side. But overall- This set is fantastic for new players. Instead of renting buy this set, beat it up, get to knowing the ‘feel’ of golf, then buy what you really want later. 6 months later update: The 7 iron head became loose, but I bought some Brampton epoxy and its fine again. Still happy with the purchase. Bag still holding up really well. We go about 3 times a month between range/9 holes. Still mostly holding up. Read more

Bought these clubs for my wife who is a lefty. She had been playing the same old set for at least twenty years. So far so good. She likes them and hits them well. As she does not have a huge distance between single clubs, this set having four irons and two woods is ideal. I think they are a great value for an entry level, novice player. Read more
