The MP3 player that I had didn’t work anymore. I did some browsing on Amazon and I ordered two MP3 players. I returned each one due to the fact they were difficult to navigate or didn’t work properly. So, I went back and order this MP3 player. To my surprise, it worked right out of the box as it was expected to!. Navigating the screens was simple, but it took some time to figure out how to do certain things. I had all of my CDs that I downloaded on a 128 GIG TD card from my player that didn’t work. So I inserted it into the new MP3 player and all the songs came up and played as they should. There is an equalizer which I found that can change the sound from classical, normal, rock, and jazz. To download a CD to the player, I take the card out of the player and I plug it into a hub which has a TF card reader. I open up the music app on my iMac M4 and I create a file on the TF card for the CD I want to copy of. I Just drag and drop the file onto the TF card and you are all set. I do not store on the MP3’s internal storage only because if it dies, so does the music you have on it. And on my iMac M4 I made a backup copy of my songs that are located on the TF card. All in all so far, the player works as described and I am happy with it. You have to use the USB A to USB C charging cable that comes with the player. I bought this to use in my car for music instead of always tying up my cell phone in the car. I am happy with the MP3 player. Connects to Bluetooth with no problems, and it is small, so it doesn't get in my way. Works well on flights for listening to podcasts, music, or audiobooks. I highly recommend this! It’s a honestly exactly what is advertised but who is going to go through the trouble of using it. It is great as a music player if you want to stay disconnected but it’s a pain to transfer music into this. I think it would really work well for younger kids who you don’t want to give a phone to. Most important: My son bought this back in October, and now it won’t even turn on. It won’t charge, and won’t respond. He was listening to music a few days ago when he said it shut down and won’t charge or respond to buttons. Interface: it’s clunky and isn’t ’user friendly’ on the layout side. You must be very specific when loading music into files. or you won’t be able to find a single unless you search through the ‘Song Title’ list (VERY annoying as I’ve used it myself). The touch screen is also very unforgiving, and if you’re not deliberate with your touches, it won’t register. Battery life is OK, unless you’re looking for something that lasts 8 hours with intermittent use. A couple hours a day isn’t bad. Sound quality: it’s a $40 player, it plays music. Extra features: Fun to ‘play with’, not to use Overall: it would be a good ‘beginner’ device IF it lasted more than two months. He saved up to spend his own money and be responsible, now he’s learning a life lesson. A 30-day return for such issues is a joke. Read more
