I bought this for my son to use. He wanted to start downloading e-books and some podcasts that he could listen to at any time. The player has worked out very good for him. He’s put a bunch of podcasts already and it seems there is still lots of space left for other things. It has a built in speaker and for as small as the player is the speaker works surprisingly well. This is a very small player, will fit in about any pocket and the battery life lasts a long time. Good value for the money. Read more
This one is a 1 and I just missed the return window by 2 days. The buttons stopped working on it yesterday, 9/3. Just 31 days old. Tried again this morning after charging overnight (it was fully charged already) and still turns on but the buttons on the face and side don't respond at all. No drops or damage. Haven't had it long enough and barely used so far. Again, Not much use either. I use it for walking, and I have another just like it I use for mowing and that works fine still. and why I bought another one, but I guess quality varies greatly on these. Again, the buttons just won't work. It just freezes on a screen and stay there. I would have tried to return and Replace and hoped it was just a one off issue. 50/50 it will work is not good odds, so I wouldn't buy again and stay away. 2nd one went bad too. Won't charge. The charger just stopped working, and NO it's not the cord. BArely used this one too. These I guess are just cheap XXXXXXXX. Read more

When I receive this product, I made sure it was charged and I began operational procedures shortly afterwards. I put a ton of music on it. About 12 GB. Operating the device took some getting used to. I quickly learned to never hit that record button. I may need to do voice memos somewhere in the future, but something tells me I’ll have my phone on me and not this. The wake up button is a nice feature to have given that the power on button is a flip switch. I don’t know how much battery will be drained by just putting it to sleep, but hopefully the sleep button is a battery saver. But who knows. That’s neither here nor there. Once I figured out how to operate it, I also figured out why I started using streaming services about seven years ago. I have access to get any music I want for free. Maintaining a music library is a job. So I go ahead and stream just to have beautiful libraries at my disposal. When I looked at my music on this device, everything is all mixed up. Everything is in the folder that they’re supposed to be in, but nothing is in order. These songs are even numbered and out of order. One impressive thing about it is that I was able to hook the device up to my tablet and pull my music from Google Drive onto the device. At the very least it is a very convenient 80 GB hard drive with a retail price of about $20. It looks premium, but it feels like a feather. I have searched online to buy a case for it because it seems like it would be fragile, but no luck. So I’m going to be very delicate with this. Quick word of caution, hold onto that micro USB cable because it does sync. I don’t know how many micro syncing cables are left in the world, but this device gives you a reason to have one on hand. Again, do not lose it. I appreciate having the player because I have somewhere to back up all of my favorite music. If I get a bigger card, I can put my entire music library on it, but I think I’m just going to use it for my personal music. Everybody else has a phone and doesn’t need my device to play music. But I do need reliable storage . I have placed my music on flash drives in the past and who knows where those flashes are . but this is a specific device that is specific to me . I don’t know how long this twenty dollar flash drive will hold up. The speaker is very loud , almost too loud . there will be no bass unless you hook it to something that plays bass. That’s fair. Just like my old touch iPods. Also, it is crazy that the device downloaded all of the album art to my music, but I have to look at an equalizer display when I play the music. The album art is stored in the pictures on the device lol. Also, I noticed that I had to create a playlist for all of my music in order to access it quickly if it is not on the main drive, which is only 16 GB. When I think about it, I should’ve went ahead and put that first 12 on the main drive because those were the songs that I aimed for first. I’m not worried about using this with Bluetooth because I have plenty of devices that work with Bluetooth. As I said, I will use this as a hard drive because the music is so jumbled up, I refuse to start making playlists on it. All in all, I think it is a very good device that is useful, but in the same breath it is frustratingly cheap, and an air of uncertainty will linger for the life of how long I have this device. Nice little player.. Took a few tries to figure out how to maneuver around to get where I wanted to go. I love to use the FM radio feature when cutting grass and can’t wait to add music for flying. Read more
I had high hopes for this device, but several usability issues make it hard to recommend: 1. The user interface is not intuitive, and the manual offers little help in navigating or understanding the features. 2. Highlighted text appears in yellow, which makes it difficult to read, especially in bright environments. 3. The player doesn't reliably recognize all MP3 tracks—some files simply won’t play. 4. Audio playback is inconsistent at times, with occasional interruptions or glitches in the sound. 5. Removing the 64GB TF card is frustrating. A curved slot design would make it much easier to grip the card with tweezers or fingers. With some design improvements and firmware fixes, this product could be much better.
