This trashcan is super duper fancy. To be honest, it is so darn pretty and nice, that i decided to use it as a planter. It is just too darn lovely to put it in my bathroom with it's shappy vinyl tile floors and yellowing formica counters. Somehow, it made my bathroom look even more drab and worn. The color is listed as rose gold, but it is much closer to bronze, like the brozing people used to use for baby shoes (this was in the days before cell phones and VCR's, but everyone had a pair of bronze baby shoes on their coffee table). It is an elegant color that could match almost any room color (except bronze). It is also slightly larger than my old white plastic trashcan, but regular bathroom trashbags fit this can. Read more

The rim looks like it's detachable but the decorative outer core lifts completely off revealing wide and easy-to-clean thick plastic core. This makes it possible to use commercial or recycled bags without the sloppy edges showing as they are fully concealed by the decorative outer shell. Because the shell has a lip on the top, this would be a discreet choice for a bathroom where a closed-top bin was not an option.
