I bought these because I was tired of not only my hair being in the laundry but also my dogs hair. I put them in both the wash and dryer and let’s just say it’s very effective. I don’t have hair balls stuck in my clothing anymore and it’s so convenient for me. I foster dogs until they find their furever home. This means that my house and my clothes are usually covered in fur. I have tried wool dryer balls before, but it didn't do anything for the hair. These actually go in the washer and trap the hair instead. The smaller balls are covered in velcro and hold the hair. They go inside the larger, silicone piece to trap the hair inside it.
