I have watched the oral care industry shift significantly. We are moving away from traditional foaming agents and toward "bio-compatible" ingredients. If you’ve been looking for a fluoride alternative that actually delivers on the promise of remingeralization, this 9.9% Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste is one of the most impressive formulations I’ve tested this year. The Science: Why 9.9% Matters For the uninitiated, Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is the primary mineral that makes up 97% of your tooth enamel. Most "whitening" toothpastes work by using abrasives to scrub stains away, which can thin your enamel over time. This toothpaste does the opposite—it seeks to replenish it. At a 9.9% concentration, this formula is potent enough to fill in microscopic "fissures" in your teeth, effectively "plugging" the pathways that lead to nerve sensitivity. Performance & User Experience Unlike some natural toothpastes that feel like brushing with flavored sand, the texture here is incredibly smooth and refined. It has a gentle, non-irritating foam—likely because it avoids harsh SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). After two weeks of consistent use, the "zing" I usually feel when drinking ice-cold water was significantly diminished. PROS High-Concentration HAp: Many competitors hide their percentages; 9.9% is a clinically relevant dose that actively supports enamel density. Sensitivity Relief: If you struggle with thinning enamel or gum recession, this is a much gentler and more effective long-term solution than potassium nitrate-based brands. Safe & Non-Toxic: Because it is fluoride-free and natural, it is 100% safe if accidentally swallowed, making it a "one-tube-fits-all" solution for households with children. Superior Value: This is a 2-pack (8.46 oz total). Most premium HAp toothpastes (like those from Japan or boutique EU brands) cost 15 – 15– 20 for a single tube. This pack offers professional-grade science at a mid-market price point. Smooth Finish: It leaves a "polished" feeling on the teeth—similar to how your mouth feels right after a professional dental cleaning. CONS Lather Difference: If you are used to the heavy, exploding foam of big-box brands, this will feel "flatter" at first. Don't be fooled; it’s still cleaning, just without the irritating chemicals. Acclimation Period: Remineralization isn't an overnight miracle. You need to use this for at least 14 days to really feel the structural difference in your enamel. Overall Input This isn't just "another natural toothpaste"—it’s a sophisticated dental tool. The 9.9% Hydroxyapatite formula is a "must-buy" for anyone dealing with acid erosion, sensitivity, or those who simply want to move away from fluoride without sacrificing protection. It’s effective, it’s safe, and the two-pack ensures you have a 2-3 month supply on hand. Pro-Tip: For maximum results, do not rinse your mouth with water immediately after brushing. Let the Hydroxyapatite sit on your teeth for a minute or two to allow the minerals to fully integrate with your enamel! Read more
I’ve been using this 9.9% Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with the results. From the first few uses it left my mouth feeling extra clean and smooth, and I noticed a brighter, healthier look to my teeth after just a short time. The formula isn’t too strong, so it’s gentle on my sensitive teeth, but I still feel like it’s doing a great job removing plaque and promoting overall oral health. The texture is smooth and foamy without being overpowering, and the taste is mild and pleasant—no harsh mint burn. I love that it uses hydroxyapatite instead of harsher ingredients; it gives me peace of mind knowing it’s designed to help strengthen enamel naturally. Since switching to this toothpaste, my dentist even commented that my enamel looks stronger at my last check-up! If you’re looking for an effective everyday toothpaste that’s gentle yet powerful, this one is definitely worth trying. Read more
4 stars for now - will update at a later time. I was kind of concerned about getting this since I had saw from other posts that this contained SLS (sodium laurel sulfate) but didn't see those images until after it was already on its way. I guess the manufacturer must have changed the formula because I no longer see it in the lists of ingredients on my boxes. (big relief) I've read a few things about nanohydroxyapatite and I'm hoping this will help the spots in my teeth that have been bothering me but my dentist seems to not be able to find but my tongue can. So far I do seem to like it as a tooth paste. It has a similar texture (a little more dry in feel than tooth paste but that's never bothered me as I've used tooth powder before). The peppermint is much more subdued - which I actually like. Instructions say to use a pea-sized amount (as you're supposed to with regular toothpaste) and it seems to definitely be enough for brushing. Teeth feel very smooth afterwards. Price point is good - both tubes should last me quite a while especially given only needing to use just a little bit. Again, giving 4 stars for right now. It didn't make my teeth dazzlingly white on the first go (didn't expect it to) but I'll definitely update if I see some marked improvement in color and feel of my teeth. Read more

Started this product because I was influenced on Instagram! Wish I would have started using it sooner! Do NOT rinse the product off for maximum effectiveness! My teeth are stronger and enamel is rebuilding (tested by shining a light behind my teeth - the translucent spots are filling in!!). My teeth are whiter, too! My husband noticed and started using the toothpaste, as well! The taste and texture are great, a natural, light mint flavor. I've already shared this product with friends and will be buying it again and again!! Read more
