I am so impressed by the quality and all the items in this dress up costume set. My 3+ year old granddaughter LOVES to play with this when she is here. She has played with it for hours and even dresses up her stuffed animals to play along. Her favorite items are the red cat’s eye glasses with rhinestones, the purse and the cane The dress is soft, has two pockets and doesn’t need ironing. The tags say for 3 to 5 year olds and it fits our tall girl with plenty of room to grow. It measures 24” long and 11 1/2” between shoulder seams. The pearls are plenty big with a lobster clasp and feel sturdy enough not to break while playing. The red glasses have a beaded retention strap to prevent the glasses from falling off. The fabric Life Alert device adds a humorous note, especially if going out for trick or treating or a costume party. The purse works easily is fun for putting treasures into. The wig is impressive with the rollers. The wig is a bit heavy and cumbersome to stay on a younglings head during play time. Also, our girl has a thick head of hair. It is great for pictures. The wig does shed a tiny amount of the gray hairs during play sessions, but the rollers stay put. The tights are big enough, but our granddaughter didn’t like them because she prefers leggings that stay up on their own. The cane is sturdy and telescopes down for compact storage. Height is not adjustable. Overall, this set exceeded my expectations for quality and endless kids fun. It is sure to last through the next two grandkids growing up. If you’re looking for a an outfit kit for 100 days of school, or even just for fun around the house you’ve found a winner. You get nine pieces including the outfit for your child to wear. My daughter loves pretending to be old, my father uses a cane sometimes and she has been coveting it since she laid eyes on it. Now she has her own that’s just her size she can pretends with. She loves playing “grannies” from Bluey and this outfit is perfect for it. She’s a child, so the wig isn’t an all day thing for her but it’s fun for an hour or so while she’s playing or for pictures. The wig cap is a nice touch and helps getting the wig on. The rollers are a hilarious touch. It also comes with several outfit accessories including a life alert necklace, a small purse, tights, glasses with a chain, and a faux pearl necklace. The only thing that could make it better would be to add a cardigan or robe. The size is accurate, the old lady costume fits with a little room, it’s possible we may get a few years out of this costume. If you’re looking to go larger I’d say do it because it’s a pretty shapeless garment and could be worn several sizes bigger. My daughter thinks tights are itchy so she passed on them but they seem decent quality wise. This is a good value for the money. Read more

This is a very impressive set for kids, much better quality than a lot that I have reviewed. The wig is a great size, so it will contain long hair and also comfortably fit larger heads. It fits my 9 year old and me (an adult woman). It is better quality than many of the wigs that come sets like these, so no clumps of hair shedding. The rollers come preinstalled. The dress has some stretch to it. My daughter is growing into a 14-16, but she is able to fit this 8-10 over her clothes with no problem. The cane excellent quality and is adjustable so it will work for kids of many heights. The accessories really complete the look, making this a wonderful value for the current selling price of 24.99. I got this for my two daughters who love dressing up. They love Bluey and always pretend to be the “grannies”. This was the perfect outfit for that! The costume fit perfectly on both my daughters (4/5) and everything is quite high quality, especially the cane and pearl necklace. It comes with a wig cap to tuck hair under before you put the wig on which is a great addition! We usually put there hair in a bun with a hair tie before trying to put the cap on which makes it easier. The materials are not scratchy and they both said the dress is actually quite comfortable, I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a Halloween or play costume.
