Works great at preventing diaper rash in newborns. Was told by the hospital to put a dab of A&D or some other butt paste inside diaper and wipe their butt. We were doing it every change, but have since stopped to only a few times a day. A little goes a long way. Read more

If I could choose just 3 things to have when stranded on a desert island, A & D Ointment would be one of the 3 items, no question. Have used it since I was kid for every kind of cut, scrape, abrasion, gouge, hang-nail, etc. It seals out the air, which stops the stinging; and keeps it moist to help with healing.
