I'm very impressed. The value for your $ is outstanding. This is real, thick, protective leather that is somehow still soft and pliable. It smells like leather. The concealed carry pocket is a great bonus and mine is perfectly placed whether I use the liner or not. Even has a strap for the barrel. The left, front chest zippered pocket is perfect for my phone. To the size., I am 6' tall, wear a 17-1/2, 34/35, fitted shirt. In most pants I am a 34" waist (which probably means I am 36"). I am not in great shape, maybe a small belly, but I am in no way fat. I might be a little broader in the shoulders than most but not by much. I bought the large and it fits almost perfectly. I wish it were just a little looser in the stomach area (if you have a big gut forget it) and maybe a little in the chest too. (whether or not I have the liner in, it feels the same). I would also use a tiny bit more room in the shoulders. If I went up in size, however the sleeves and length would undoubtedly be too long. Someone mentioned in a review that the length is too short, but if anything I might want it a tiny bit shorter for when I am seated on my bike. The fit FOR ME, it still an 8 out of 10. This is a hands down, slam dunk, easy decision to make as long as it fits. I love it. UPDATE!! Ok I have not worn it a bit and it is stretching ot a bit in all the right areas.
