This pull-up bar changed the game as far as my at-home fitness. It’s VERY secure and durable the way it is designed, and easy to install in most doorways or even wall configurations. The value for the price seems good to me- I’ve been using mine daily, not just for pull-ups, but stretching and various tension exercises. It’s pretty versatile- you can install at any height to suit your needs, and the width is variable too. Safety is always a big concern for me- with proper installation, and a look to the weight guide, this item has no issues with safety, in my opinion. I’ve been using mine happily, every day! Happy to have this, would recommend. Read more
Maybe workable in some environments, but hardly usable in my average American condo home, very economy class thing. The next level after “free” stuff. Maybe good for kids, but it didn’t fit my average door way Read more
I received this pull-up bar for free in exchange for my honest review, and I’m very impressed with the quality. The bar feels strong and solid, and it easily supports the weight of a full-size adult without feeling unstable. One feature I really appreciate is the built-in protection where the bar contacts the doorway. It helps prevent marks or damage to the paint on the door frame, which is a big plus compared to some other doorway bars. Installation was straightforward, and the safety lock adds extra peace of mind when using it. Another feature I like is that the bar can be easily adjusted to a lower height to assist with different exercises, and then raised again for full pull-ups or simply hanging. That flexibility makes it useful for a wider range of workouts. I also enjoy simply hanging from the bar for short periods of time. Hanging can help stretch the spine, relieve tension in the back and shoulders, improve grip strength, and support overall upper-body mobility. Overall, this is a well-made, heavy-duty pull-up bar that works great for home exercise, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable doorway pull-up bar. Read more
I've tried other temporary pull-up bars and I like this one the best. It's not perfect, but I prefer its pros and cons over the alternatives that I've tried. Pros -Very solid, reassuring structure -Comfortable grip -Quickly removable if you need the full doorway (to close or move something large through) -Feels very stable when "fully" installed Cons -Not completely tool-less for full install or removal -Not as many grip positions as some other portable pull-up bars -Doesn't feel very reliable, until it's fully installed When testing this bar I was in the 210-215lb range, just below the specified limit of the product. This product has two ways of installation. The fully tool-less and full temporary method relies entirely on friction between the bar's end pads and the door frame. When I used it in this configuration I felt like it was not stable enough to confidently use, but at the same time, when using it carefully, it didn't ever actually fail. I just worried that it would. The other method of installation requires two screws that attach small mating features to the doorframe. When the bar is installed with this method it feels very solid and I was able to use it with full confidence. In this configuration, the bar itself is still completely removable without tools or much effort. If you will be comfortable installing two screw in one of your doorways, I'd easily recommend this product for you. This will still allow you to very quickly remove the bar itself from the doorway if you need it out of the way and you might even forget about the two little studs that the bar engages with. If you want it to be completely tool-less and zero commitment you might be better off with one of the other designs of portable pull up bars that hooks onto the top of the doorway casing trim. I am pretty unhappy with this pull-up bar. I ordered it for my 17-year-old son for Christmas so he could have one here like he does at his dad‘s house. He couldn’t get it to install and the directions were difficult. Neither he nor I felt it safe for him to use it. Very disappointing. Read more

This is a pull-up bar that you mount in a doorway. It feels and is very sturdy feeling. You need to install this bar to stay in order to be sure, so you can't use this on a door that you need to keep removing the bar from, unless you want to hassle with this. I was able to install this bar. I am able to place the bar at the height that works for my own height. If you are ok with changing the location and height of the doorway, you can use this bar for placing low for sit up, mid-way for a ballet stretch, etc. The bar has nice padding along most of the bar, but not the entire bar, but there is plenty of room for gripping. The design of this bar is attractive and looks simple and tough. Read more
