This was a TOTAL disappointment. Even after reading the instructions we had a hard time getting it to set up. There are defiantly steps that should be included in the instructions that are NOT listed. That really needs to be updated. I know i'm not the only one that has had issues with the set up. We got it for our LO to remind her to stop an go since she gets so busy and doesn't want to stop. it worked for about 2 days. but she was constantly taking it off. it does have small part inside that that plugs the charge port that could easily fall out. I believe it is supposed to make it "water proof" but i don't think it actually works. after just getting water from washing hands on it we started having issues. we have had it for about 3 weeks and the sound doesn't work and the lights just flash. not worth the money if its not going to work the way it claims it will . we will be attempting to return it. This watch helped me potty train my toddler! It’s good quality! Instructions were clear and timer was amazing you can set it to go off every 30,90, or 60 minutes! It’s water resistant, looks sleek and wonderful and is a great size for a toddler! Read more
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea behind this watch. I love that it automatically resets after the button is pressed. HOWEVER it is IMPOSSIBLE to turn off. I didn't hardly any sleep last night because it would make noise every 90 minutes. I'd hold the button until it says off but it would NOT stop the timer. I've since read the questions and answers to figure out how to get it to turn off but the instruction manual doesn't say any of what they are saying. I'm still not sure if it actually turned off or not and now I have to wait until my kid goes to bed to shut it off. If it doesn't work I get to spend another night with Wheels on the Bus stuck in my head. Keep up with the idea but FIX the programming. Read more
My sensory seeking 4 and a half year old has *really* struggled to potty train to the point that I’m about to pull my hair out. He is very control-seeking and this became a battle of the wills. It is a legitimate issue at school where frequent accidents are now very disruptive. I am a single parent and I work full time and just completed a graduate program. I’ve tried so many things but this particular issue was becoming very disconcerting, time consuming and stressful. This watch allowed him to have the control. He loves having a “thing” like a special little tool that is all his. His teacher told me whenever it went off, all of his friends at school and him would dance together. We’re going on day 5 or 6 and the only accidents (maybe 2) I can genuinely say we’re accidents and not an act of willfulness. He’s proud. I’m proud. His grandparents are proud and so is his school—wins all around. The only reason I can’t give this 5 stars is because the quality is pretty poor. The face of the watch popped off after two days. You can stick it right back on but it pops right back off. The company is sending me a new one. I’ll edit my review if it turns out it was just the one I had. But honestly, I’d buy this again and again for any kiddo who struggles to potty train. Worth the money! Read more
My youngest son just turned 7. He was still in a diaper. He absolutely refused to potty train. We finally was able to get him in underwear and after several days of accidents, he finally adjusted to the toilet. He’s also been a child of his own mind. He will do what he wants to do on his time. But we were tired of waiting around for him to accomplish this on his own. He simply didn’t want to. We have successfully been potty training for over a week now. But I was still telling him every 30 minutes to go sit on the toilet. I needed to give him control because he was so sick of me saying it that he just shut down. I ordered this as a long shot. Best under $20 I have ever spent!!! I set the timer for 60 minutes instead of 30 and he is super excited watching the timer count down. I haven’t had to tell him to go potty once! And it seems to have had an unexpected effect. Not only does he go when the watch goes off, but he also goes when he has the urge, on his own now!!! I cannot recommend this little watch enough!!!! If you’re hesitant like I was, it’s worth it! Read more
I love the idea of the potty watch, however this one is not a good product. There is one button that controls everything and it is very difficult to set. My daughter was trying to set it for use with my grand-daughter and the potty training and instead of the timer counting down, it counted up. She could not get it set and neither could her husband. I would not recommend this particular potty watch from our personal experiences. Read more
