The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Almost two years later this product still works amazingly. Durability is excellent and I use it twice a week. I have set PRs of 400+ lbs with this thing! I have grown my glutes beautifully being able to lift heavy enough while being comfortable. Buy it! Previous Review: First, I purchased this with my own money so this a real review. I was pleasantly surprised that this pad was able to support 300lb hip thrusts. I tried a different product that was also rectangular shaped but that one was too stiff and didn’t work properly for the Smith Machine. The AMBAT HTP (Hip Thrust Pad) on the other hand molds around the bar properly and cushions the hips. I was able to get full range of motion with it. It was very comfortable and I was able to focus on the exercise itself instead of the bar digging into my hips or readjusting. This has been a great investment thus far. I can’t comment on durability since this is my first use. I definitely recommend the ABMAT Hip Thrust Pad. It works. IG: nubianphnx_of_steel Read more

This appears and feels to be great quality. It's the best padding I have found for removing the pain from hip thrusts! I am impressed. Read more
I don’t mind doing hip thrusts, but I never really enjoyed them. Just figured they’d benefit me but I could never get comfortable enough to want to do more, or just push harder. Tried the gym reaper ones, power guidance and they kinda sucked imo the pro fitness one was decent enough, but this.. Extremely comfortable. Relieves that unnecessary pressure and distributes the weight wayy better than any of the cylindrical shaped ones imo. Just wish it was easier to set up and keep it that way between sets, but it’s fine because I usually move and shift a lot between sets anyway Read more
I was hesitant to purchase this product because of other reviews stating it didn’t provide support after certain amount of lbs. To me it worked great at 405lbs, the support was amazing and the mobility was good enough too. I only experienced some difficulty rolling the bar on my legs, but I have thick thighs (for reference I’m 5’2” and put 5 of the adjustable Risers for Aerobic Exercise Stepper). I imagine people with longer legs shouldn’t have this issue. Additionally it’s no big deal, you get used to it and super worth it for the support you get when thrusting heavy. Also, the hard part that makes contact with the bar, which may interfere with the flexibility of the pad, may be necessary to ensure durability and to add extra protection for those heavy thrusts So, yes, buy it, it’s worth the money, your hip bones will thank you. Mind you, my max is at 405lbs so I wouldn’t be able to tell you for heavier lifts. Read more
From a quality standpoint this product works well. But I would not recommend this product because mine got very stinky after only a couple months, and because their customer service is so terrible. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service team. It’s some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I contacted the support team today because I have only used this product a few times and it started stinking very bad. Of course, being exposed to the sweat that is left on the machines of various gymgoers, that is bound to happen and I understand that. I simply asked if the product was washable and also suggested that they amend the design to include a washable or removable cover for this reason. Especially since it already is pretty pricey. If I had known they would reply so rudely, I would never have even asked. The customer service team was not at all understanding and didn’t seem to care. They were very curt and didn’t even answer my question, but brushed me off and said they will never change the design and told me to just “wipe it down”, which will absolutely not get rid of the smell. I will not support them again because of these reasons. I was initially very excited and happy with this product, but I am very disappointed in being treated this way. Read more

The hip thrust pad is a bit pricy, but it is very durable and works wayyyy better than a conventional barbell pad. I really love the material and it makes hip thrusts very comfortable. Read more
I don't have to constantly adjust it during sets and the padding actually does what it's intended for unlike the standard barbell pads I've used. It feels sturdy and quite stiff, but once you have it under the weight of the bar (even with a lighter load) it flexes for full range of motion just fine. An unexpected plus I found is the way it balances and distributes the weight. It made every set feel so much easier. Fantastic quality and design. I won't hesitate to re-purchase this when it (eventually) needs to be replaced. Read more
