ABZ 52 Solid Wood Ceiling Fan Outdoor 3 Blade No Light Walnut for Patio Living Room Bedroom Porch

For all you ladies/girls out there who have ever been one to shy away from installing a ceiling fan on your own because you felt it was scary or way too cumbersome - well, I am hear to tell you this could not be further from the truth! This is exactly how I felt until I finally decided to face my fears, bite the bullet and install my new ABC 60" Indoor Ceiling Fan (with remote) all by myself this past weekend (and I am being truthfully honest when I say ALL BY MYSELF). Attaching the bracket to the ceiling was a cinch and assembling the fan was even easier. Once the assembly phase was completed along with my chosen down rod (I used the 10"), it was then only a matter of placing it up into the bracket I previously mounted on the ceiling. I then connected the colored wires just as the instructions indicated (I used wire strippers to expose the copper for the 3 wires extending from the ceiling), and then placed the receiver with the connected wires into the provided space at the top of the ceiling bracket. I then used the provided cover to encase all of the wiring and receiver. Once covered, I then used the 2 screws already provided from the bracket to screw the cover in place and VOILA! I then placed 2 AAA batteries into the remote and turned it on. I cannot emphasize enough how quiet the fan is and how beautiful it looks in my great room. The amount of air flow it provides even on a speed of 1 is remarkable! The black is also very sleek and classy looking. One cannot go wrong in ordering this fan! I had a professional come and install this fan and even though it is done properly and the remote has paired with the fan it will not turn on. The company from china wants to send some new parts to try to remedy it. So I would again have to hire the professional to come out. I would not buy this product from china. I am stuck with a fan that is hung and paid for two times over and it doesn’t operate. Read more

I love the look of the fans, and they work great. I ordered two for my front porch. I cannot give them five stars as they do not match 100%. They have different bolts that stand out, the blades are slightly a different shade and the remotes are different with different timing options. I realized after they were hung and installed. Just installed this fan. Was pretty straight forward. There was no 10" downrod in the box, which should have been included, so we had no choice but to use the 5-1/2" one for our 9' ceiling. The air movement on the low speed is probably more than we'll ever need. The fan quality is very impressive and the motor runs silently, even on the highest speed. Deducted one star because the fan doesn't remember its last speed when the wall power switch is used to turn it off/on; need to use the remote each time to select the speed. The fan is absolutely beautiful. The solid wood blades are well made and are a rich color. It really sets off our family room. We are thrilled with this fan and highly recommend it. Read more
