Great Christmas gift for an RC enthusiastic boy! Ready to run out of the box with the remote control just needing batteries. The car battery is not removable but charged using the included USB-C cable. Battery life is very decent lasting almost 30+ min on a full charge. The car details are amazing down to the working headlights and taillights which can be turned off remotely. There's also two modes of play - beginner and expert. The expert mode kicks up the power and almost does an standstill "burnout" on smooth surfaces when squeezing the throttle... lots of power! I chose the gyro model and it does help to stabilize the vehicle on intentional drifts but increasing the sensitivity to max causes the vehicle to zig zag on straight aways since it tries to compensate for even the slightest wheel turn. But who wants to go straight on a drift car! 😜 The scale is great for playing indoors on any smooth surface. The included set of non-drift tires is a bonus and easily changeable. Didn't give it a 5-star only because I don't know the durability and longevity of the toy yet since we've only had it for a week, but so far it's holding up. Certainly a fun toy for all ages! These are very quick and fun little cars. Ive only played with them in my garage and have to test them on other surfaces. I will say that one of 2 I bought does drift better to the left then the right. I did try adjusting the trim, it made marginal difference. However I have not pulled the vehicle apart to see if maybe there is a manufacturing defect or a possible stiff or loose part. But overall very fun, and fast little cars. The gyro is very sensitive.
