Like a great number of folks my household uses a steady supply of small batteries. The most common usage is in small electronics of various types, so AA and AAA batteries were the routine purchase. Some time ago I spent quite a bit of time and effort to try to determine the most cost-effective brand, quality, and quantity out there. After considerable research and reviews, I settled on the ACDelco units as having the best price/performance combination--and have bought those ever since. In the AA and AAA size, I usually buy containers of a hundred to get the best pricing. More recently I have had the need to buy alkaline "C" and "D" size cells in quantity for two different applications that demand those battery sizes. I used that opportunity to again compare options--looking at reviews and specifications for more expensive brands and comparing to less-expensive units. Again, after consideration, I went with the ACDelco units, and have been happy with them. In all of these batteries that I've purchased, I've never got a bad one that I've had to immediately replace. Performance is good, in my opinion; of course, I've not directly compared performance to all the other brands, but these last very well in every application I've used them. I can't absolutely swear that they are the best deal out there, because you really would have to directly compare them all to make that statement. What I can say is that they are very good batteries, that perform very well, at an excellent price. Read more

Performance So Far These D cell alkaline batteries have performed exactly as expected since installation. They power my devices effectively with no issues or early failures - they simply work as batteries should. Value Proposition The main selling point here is cost savings. If you're looking for disposable alkaline batteries and don't want to pay premium prices for name brands like Duracell or Energizer, these offer solid value. The price difference is noticeable without any apparent compromise in initial performance. Long-term Assessment Pending I'm still evaluating two key factors that will determine whether these are truly worth the savings: Runtime longevity: How long they actually last in regular use compared to premium brands Shelf life: Whether they maintain their charge during extended storage periods Bottom Line For budget-conscious buyers, these batteries are worth trying. They deliver reliable power at a lower cost than major brands. The real test will be long-term performance, but initial results are promising. Recommendation: Good choice for high-volume users or those wanting to stock up without breaking the bank. Just be prepared to monitor their actual lifespan compared to what you'd get from premium alternatives. Read more

These absolutely are the best batteries for my security camera light! I was using regular batteries before and there was not enough power to maintain the light. It would turn on and then start blinking until finally turning off. Now I have a strong bright light that lasts until the clip ends. Read more
