Always buy OE when feasible.
The first problem that I noted was that the engine coolant temperature was consistently lower than it should be. Next, I noted that when I stopped the truck, the cooling fan continued to run on high even though the engine temperature was the self regulating point. Upon scanning the ECM I discovered a code P0128 engine coolant below self regulating temperature. Once I cleared the code, the cooling fan quit running on high after the engine was shut off. I ordered a new thermostat to fix the problem. As soon as I installed the new thermostat, all of my issues have been resolved. This ACDelco thermostat comes with the gasket. I definitely recommend this OE product because fit and function are perfect and the price is reasonable. Do not be tempted by aftermarket products because since the Covid-19 shutdowns, many products are made too cheaply and do not perform as expected. Read more
Did what it was supposed to do.
Fits a 2017 Yukon. You can use a j hose clamp from Harbor Freight to keep the main radiator hose from loosing a lot of coolant. This is the 210 F model. Read more

2016 Silverado
OEM part. Works as it should. Was having issues with the old thermostat sticking open and causing the fans to constantly run on high. So far this new one seems to have cured it. There may be cheaper options for knock off brand. Stick with AC Delco. Read more
