I bought these for my husband. He is absolutely delighted with them. They're huge, and very silly, and they fit true to size — he wears 11½ and the XL fits him perfectly. They look just like the product pictures. The main part is a fuzzy velour-type material the toes are a bit shiny, like they're made from a faux patent leather-type fabric. Really gives a good effect; I can't really say "realistic" because they're so cartoonish, but the different textures really sell the effect of foot vs claw. My husband always has cold feet, and he is pleased how the slippers help keep his feel warmer. They do also have a decent slip-resistant sole. These matched perfectly with my daughters Angel costume from Lilo and Stitch. I like the bottoms are rubber with grips so if its a bit damp on halloween the bottoms won't get soaked. I plan on using a waterproofing spray as extra precaution. She wears a size 11 little kids and the smallest size was the 13-1 but it seems to be snug enough to not fall off.
