My new work laptop only has USB-C ports, no Ethernet port, and no regular UBC ports. And this multiport adapter fixes all that. And for laptops that charge through the USB-C ports and only have one USB-C port (like my personal laptop), this adapter solves that problem too. This works exactly how it should. Allows me to have my laptop set up as a mobile work station where I can quickly plug in all of my external items such as a monitor, keyboard and mouse, multiple printers, and more, on top of it supplying power to charge my laptop. It has everything you need to make your phone your computer. I was able to hook up a controller, my power supply, an HDMI cable, Ethernet cable, mouse and keyboard. It all worked out perfectly. And this was on an old Galaxy Note 9. Definitely worth the money. I was a little confused about why my controller 🎮 would not work at first and that is when I realized that my phone didn't understand that it was a wireless controller, so when I connected a wired controller 🎮 it worked. I bought this expecting it to offer functionality for all my accessory devices and thus allow me to disconnect and connect my laptop without unplugging numerous cables each time. Unfortunately, this hub does not function with my older monitor without a special cable I needed to buy, does not function with my scanner, and does not work with my external backup hard drive. These devices all need to be plugged into my laptop, thus defeating the purpose for buying the hub. Not what I expected or wanted. My fault, I should have done more research before buying. Read more
