I’ve been really impressed with the Acer Laser Rangefinder SW-1000E. It locks onto the flag quickly, gives consistent readings, and feels accurate compared to course markers and playing partners’ higher-end rangefinders. The display is clear, even in bright sunlight, and the slope feature works smoothly without being confusing. Build quality is solid, the size is compact, and it’s easy to use right out of the box. Battery life has been good so far, and it’s become a regular part of my pre-shot routine. For the price, this is an excellent rangefinder that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommend for golfers who want reliability without overpaying. Read more

This new Acer Golf Rangefinder works like a champ! It's fast, accurate (provides distance to tenths 0.1), easy to use and read. Has slope mode like other popular laser rangefinder. Cool features not found on more expensive Rangefinders: 1. Measures speed. 2. Triangulates distance between two points - great for cart path only days or knowing the distance between someone else's ball and the flag without having to walk over there. The numbers are spot on (compared it to a Nikon CoolShot Pro and Bushnell Tour V6). The stabilization and pin finder features work great making it easier to get fast, accurate yardage to the pin. It has a large magnetic side that is very strong. Comes with a case that has a magnetic flap for easy access. The USB-C rechargeable battery is rated for 20,000+ measurements which equals over 200 rounds if you're taking 100 measurements per round. After 5 rounds of getting yardage for myself and other players in my group, the battery level is still full. You can't beat the Acer 1700 yard Laser Golf Rangefinder in terms of price, performance and features. Read more

This is the first golf rangefinder I've ever owned, so I didn't have any preconceived notions on what to expect. I'm older and my eyesight is not the greatest, so I wanted a rangefinder that would be fairly easy to lock onto flags with and one that I could read easily. This rangefinder fits the bill on both accounts. I have no problem reading all of the graphics on the screen and the image and magnification is excellent. 6X magnification is perfect for golf. The owners manual is thorough and after 5-10 minutes of reading the manual and going through all the steps with the rangefinder, I had a complete understanding of the device. Mainly, I'll just be using the flag pin locking feature, the slope option and the azimuth mode. I tested the flag locking on a telephone pole over 200 yards away in my neighborhood and it worked consistently well with the measurement being +- 1 yard on 5 different readings. I never tested the slope mode as my neighborhood is quite flat and it didn't seem worth it considering how slight the difference would be. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The price was right as this was the cheapest rangefinder I could find with both image stabilization and HD. I've gotten consistent readings during my testing around the neighborhood and I can't wait to get it on the course. I really appreciate the extra year warranty that you can get by scanning the QR code inside the box. So, while I can't compare this to any other rangefinder as this is my first, I will say that I'm very happy with this device. It is excellent quality and performs perfectly. The azimuth mode is something I hadn't noticed that this rangefinder has that I'm really happy to have. This mode can come in handy on cart path only days. From the cart path you can put the rangefinder in azimuth mode and from the cart path shoot the ball location and then the pin location and the rangefinder will give you the distance from the ball to the pin. This will save you from having to take 3 or 4 clubs to your ball location across the fairway because you aren't sure what the distance is from the ball. Read more

I’ve been using this Acer golf rangefinder for a few rounds now, and I’m really impressed. The distance readings are quick and accurate, and the flag pole locking with vibration makes it easy to know you’ve locked onto the target. The slope feature is very helpful, especially on uneven courses, and the 6X magnification gives a clear view. Battery life has been solid so far, and I like that it’s rechargeable instead of using disposable batteries. It feels sturdy, compact, and easy to carry. Overall, it does exactly what it promises and offers great value for the price. Highly recommended for golfers 👍⛳️ Read more

Honestly, use it mostly to scout for my ball but scanning for distance is reasonably accurate and repeatable. Read more

The rangefinder was so clear fast reading and accurate. It is made of quality material . I like the case it has a magnet snap closer easy open easy close. It has a magnet built in rangefinder and simple charging set up. I bought this for golf but the season is not opened yet. However I live in a woods and I used it to find the distance from different trees fence posts and mail boxes. This would also be great for hunting. Read more

Great rangefinder for the price from a reputable manufacturer. Great price for 99 dollars. Comes with a nice case that has both zipper and magnetic closure. Device is plastic but looks and feels high quality. Great fit in my hands. Buttons are simple to use and provide good tactile feedback. The best part of this device is how clear the lense is. The text when you are getting your numbers are super clear and easy to read. Slope feature is very accurate when compared to my other rangefinder. Magnet works great when using a golf cart. Extremely happy with my decision to purchase. Read more
